Few questions about "switching" beetwen CFW355 and OFW360+
I've missing a new games but I also cannot lost control over my files... So, I have a big dilemma right now.
1. I have CECHL04 and I plan to install a modchip. My idea is to making NOR image from my CFW, update to OFW, making image of this OFW, enjoying and when I want copy my CP saves and trophies, reflash NORs by image with CFW. It's possible or between this action fw PS3 will want format HDD?
2. If possible, I read already about rehashing a syscon so I need Rogero CFW, right? Or maybe it's some MFW task for Rebug (I really like this CFW and I want stay on it)?
3. Which one is better for my console? Progskeet or E3 Flasher? As i read, Progskeet doesn't need power from console, so as i understand could save me if I have screw my flash memory image?
4. There's any *completely* solderless solution?
5. Can I use memDump flash images for work with this modchips?
If you start from 3.55 cfw I think you can
1- Create a dump flash from your CFW
2- Make a RAW copy of your hdd on another disk thak i'll call HDD_CFW
3- Update to the last ofw, i'll call the disk you're using now HDD_OFW
4- Create a dump flash from your OFW
Everytime you want switch between ofw and cfw you've to flash the ps3, change the disk and reboot the console
Everytime a new ofw is out you've to flash the ps3 with Flash_OFW, link the HDD_OFW, reboot and update. Than you've to make a new dump for Flash_OFW

If you use 2 hdd i think you just have to reflash your console, you'll not even lose your data on HDD_CFW when you perform the downgrade.

Both Progskeet 1.1 and E3 are solderless (of you do not brick, if you brick you need to sold 2 points)

BTW: if you have a copy of your old HDD_CFW you should be able to use your old savegame\trophy simply restoring a backup of dev_flash2\etc\backup\xRegistry.sys
