The bonus of this with the new mmCM is that you can "pseudo dualboot" between CEX & DEX
Once set up it takes 3 seconds to flash the CEX/DEX eid0 file and then just the time it takes to reflash either 3.55 DEX or 3.55 Kmeaw

I'm sure there is, but it would involve dumping two flashes then interleaving them, THEN the metldr extraction/pwn process.

That would be the main difference.

Cool. Hardware Flasher required? I got one, i'm just not on the mood for soldering today lol. Also, can i backup some of my saves/trophies and restore it on my ps3 after formatting?

Dont let that scare you though, this method is for all intensive purposes noob proof
c2d wont work without a proper dump so the only step after that is to flash

Well, i can solder the skeet on the ps3, but i'd rather use it only if it's necessary. Let me know when you finished it, i'm willing to try it sometime this week =]
