Yes, extract the contents of your NORBIN and grab metldr and use it with metldrpwn to get your keys in "dump_eid.bin" and then use c2d.exe to convert your DEX NOR to CEX using the dump_eid, your DEX.EID0.NORBIN and a region value of 85 (europe).

You can find your ORIGINAL region value if you search your NOR dump for your IDPS (without 0x82). If you can't do it - send me a PM with a link to your NOR and i'll let you know what was the original region ID of your console.

Your original target ID / region ID is 0x8A - so you have to use 8A with c2d.

You can find it at offset 0x303D5 in your NOR dump.

Tip: Anyone with NOR can find the original TargetID/RegionID at offset 0x303D5 in their nor dumps (no matter if dump was created in DEX or CEX mode - the reason for it is that leaked cex2dex conversion method does not fully convert the cex to dex and you still have the original IDPS stuff in there).

May you change these to a CEX 3.55 flash by using your PC because mine cannot do that... I'm really Tired and it is 1:04 AM in Iran ... I'm an English language teacher too. you need a dongle to get in factory service mode. do you have one?

a usb stick willl not work just because it's got an led, andreus was checking if your usb ports were operational i believe.

you need an e3 card reader or teensy dongle and you will be able to fix.

I have tried to unbrick my PS3 with this Dongle, it did not work.

just 2 files are in the root of the USB PEN
1.lv2diag.self file 1 and 2.rogero v3.4 cex cfw

how I did it

what am I doing wrong?
is this dongle useful for unbrick? should i try with other Dongle?

hi FRIENDS !!!! My console Bricked too!!! I have turned it off by USER and not by power button ... when I press the power to switch it on, I only hear 6 BEEPS and PS3 turns off...
