WTH ? - Trophy Error 80022D1E, no more trophy

Started up a game and it said something like Trophies could not be loaded game will quit.( a game I have played before. )

I thought that was odd so I went to the trophies in XMB. instead of showing me trophies it brought up a progress bar and said please wait, got to around 25% and then gives me an Error 80022D1E

Anyone have or know a fix for this?

would going int and deleting the trophy folder on the ps3 HDD ( /dev_hdd0/home/00000001/trophy ) would that reset it back to scratch?

Have a look at these links to start off with:
    - http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/gen...ies-error.html

In short, you might either need to delete the game's trophy folders, do a System Restore, or worst comes to worst, and only should be used as a last resort, is a complete system wipe and restart from scratch (i.e. a vanilla, out-of-the-box installation, with no games/applications installed)

Thanks, I already stumpled onto those when I was googling. I am afraid that I am going to have to do a system restore and delete everything on the HDD.

That sucks, especially when you have a lot of games/game saves that you would not like to end up erasing because of this.

    Good luck fixing the issue!
