multiMAN on DEX - home blocked

    Hi,

I have used mmOS on DEX OFW 4.11 and I have not access to "dev_hdd0/home/", also I cannot mkdir in "dev_hdd0/game/" (but I can overwrite files and add new ones). It's problem with chmod? I didn't try yet but supposedly Comgeniue's Awesome filemanager have fully access to it. But it's buggy (he twice destroyed fs table for me long time ago). I don't want use Target Manager, better solution could be having something more legal, isn't it?

So, my big request for DeanK, please look at this problem. I think having fully forking file manager is one of the most important things on any hacked console.

BTW: my version of multiMAN is 4.04.03 BASE DEX (20120721).

Use multiman CEX on DEX and you can access the folders

Squarepusher2, aka Twinaphex said the same thing (chmod being a PITA) at PS3Hax:

I think DEX also breaks LAST GAME functionality. I get a black screen when trying to launch last game in 3.55 DEX with peek poke, LV1 & 2 patched etc. The game will run fine if launched from multiman itself however.

btw, if you load a 3.55 cex patched lv2_kernel with lv2_loader, you can use all the old "cex" homebrew. including stuff with payload, for example usercheat pkg

some other thing, somebody know how to disable the mmCM automatic iso folder creation? this is very annoying and only cluttering up the internal.

if not, at least deank should give the user the option to create these folders and not forced

    edit
it seems on some psn games with rap/edat react activation do not work on dex. but if you load the retail kernel with lv2 loader the activation works and the game is unlocked

Could someone resign me a CEX mM executable to FSELF? Standard CEX EBOOT give an error <i forgot number but it has to do with signing>?

    - - -

I have tried Comgenie's Awesome Filemanager and also I have no access to home dir. Someone spread false info? :\

When I'll get back to 3.55 I loose all data on HDD? I have never dwg fw via QA or on Debug - as I remember via FSM, PS3 formatting HDD. Even if not, these damn chmod are the same which 4.11 set or they back to "normal" (777?).
