was unable to find a BLES version so i got a BLUS version and started the process again. Get that 80010009 error

Maybe we need to decrypt the bin files that are on USRDIR\DATA as well... but i think they are 3.70, i believe that those are the keys that the original files need, if so its a no go

Just a quick question about the fixed updates on ps3scenefiles, do you have to install the 3.60 official update first and then the fix or can you simply install the fix? Or does it depend on the game.

If it depends on the game, I need to know specifically for Portal 2 and Dark Souls.

Update packages come FIRST "then" you apply the patches/fixes

Yep, but more specifically, do the two games I mentioned need the updates because I think they were 3.60 games to start off with?? And then what is a good site that will tell you what FW a particular update is signed in?

Edit: Dark Souls is a 3.70 game so it DOES need a 3.60 update. It seems the 1.05 update's the one.
Edit2:PS3 Update Installer by aldostools gives you all the updates and the firmwares they require.

This is also my first attempt, but on my ps3 they both work. Played them both for few minutes, after that I wanted to find some new updates to try and fix.

If it is not allowed to post this, feel free to delete them since I don't know a better way to post or create shorter url's.

These are just the eboots, you need to first install the official update and then replace the eboot.bin in the game folder (The one created by the update pkg) through Multiman
