@FinalFight, is your Resistance 3 fix newer than the others?

I've tried both the 'Geohot' v2 fix after you install just the OFW 1.02 update and the 1.05 fix after you install all the 3.6 OFW updates and neither works. With the v2 fix I get various errors after the Move screen and with the 1.05 fix I just get a black screen.

    I'm on 3.55 Kmeuw.

Also the Portal 2 fix where you install the fixed eboot, the fixed param.sfo plus a couple of bin directories doesn't work for me. Just bumps me back to the XMB. If I install the OFW update, i get a screen asking me to update to 3.60.

Also, I found the most of the fixes 'out there' for Kingdoms of Alamur didn't work. Only the fix that is named 'Kingdoms of Alamur Fix' seemed to work for me. Just putting that out there if anyone is struggling.
When it comes to usenet I prefer to apply the first two rules of fight club. Usenet? What usenet?

Hello, i have tested all fixes by my self and they are all working..i have all my backups on the internal HD and options "Internal" and "BD EMU" activated for all backups on multiman...

Try to put all things like me, if you get error maybe could be from your backup...do you have all backups original (with original eboot.bin and param.sfo)?

I finally got around to trying it no it doesnt. It has 2 extra .self files and so far game updates for 3.60FW will only work if just EBOOT, if it has extra .self or .sprx files the header cannot be decrypted. If there is a way it is not public yet or I havent read about how to do it.

I also checked the files with in the patch and yes the eboot is resigned to 3.40 but those .self files arent decrypted. I told Senaxx (ps3scenefiles) I could take it off the site now but I dont want to quite yet until he responds.

It's more than likely a missing key issue or the NPDRM decrypter(s) available only have the .BIN header algorithm and not the others. So i'll look for more NPDRM related keys etc

All MediaFire links where still working, and I downloaded the eboots that are missing on PS3SF, and i'm mirroring them now on PS3SF before MediaFire takes them down. It seems they are kinda actively monitoring on these files, because i've seen a lot go down lately.

OK, that seems reasonable. I had been trying to play Resistance 3 and Portal 2 externally as some had said it had worked for them that way.

I'll install both internally and use your fix for Resistance 3 with the options you've highlighted and let you know how I got on later today.

Edit: I've successfully installed and booted up Portal 2. What I did was install the game internally and use the Ifcaro fix. With applying the fix, I was particularly careful to install the fixed files out of the bin directories rather than copy and past the bin directories into the USRDIR directory - which is I think the primary cause of failure for me last time.

Edit 2: Resistance 3 up and running. Installed internally, updated to 1.05 and using your fix. Thank you!

FinalFight, Senaxx & any uploaders/mirror providers
Here's a tip for uploading such files and making sure that they ACTUALLY stay up for longer:

    1. Name the archive files using the PC warez scene naming standards as a template - e.g. "ind-gerl-ps3-usa" for the PS3 USA version of GoldenEye Reloaded by an independent cracker - or "rld-grid" for the RELOADED release of Race Driver GRID.

    2. Encrypt the links using a link-encrypting site like Lix.in or Safelinking (PS3ISO's idea).

    3. On a forum, place the download links for such files in between the (code)(/code) BBCode (PS3ISO's idea).

    4. Provide mirrors if/when/where possible/necessary.

    5. Worst comes to worst, password-protect the archives and post the password on a forum/site.

GDrive, since I control the PS3SceneFiles host (VPS) there is no change that the files will be removed So I don't have to rename them that way on PS3SF, but for other file hosting sites this might be usefull.

    Whoops, my bad lulz!

Also, seeing as you haven't got the US Goldeneye Reloaded EBOOT uploaded on PS3SF, can you do that please (here's the request-based thread link: http://www.ps3scenefiles.com/forum/s...55-Fixed-EBOOT)
