I think some people are making a bigger deal out of this than they should. I've got plenty of bookmarks myself. A toomanytabs bar. And the first thing I see when I start my browser is a speed dial page with 9 spaces (though that can be changed to more or less) and it has multi-group support. Even with only the bookmark menu it only takes a couple seconds to type in the site name and my address bar even searches through the bookmark so I can even get by without typing the full address. I don't decide my browsing habits based on how many bookmarks I have, I decide my bookmarks based on my browsing habits. And there is always room for another bookmark. That's why you can group them into folders.
still making some improvements in the background to the server. -- fixing up some minor issues. -- hopefully the bits of slow downs will be gone by later today.
Hehe, I guess you have not noticed the 'username' that been posting on X-S recently, been trying to bring it back from the dead, but it is not working.
Was going to ask if you'd taken over X-S as well but just saw you are a head mod over there
Shame that place died so bad! It actually made way for 360ISO on my toolbar which seems to be where most of the 360 news takes place (xboxhacker for tech discussion).
I suppose that's the difference between the XBOX1 (X-S) and the 360 (360ISO) though.. XBOX1 was a revolutionary homebrew console and the 360 is just a pirates cum sponge.
I noticed all the other console sections are gone from here as well, shame but I suppose they never really got used at all.
1 Question, will the PS3crunch twitter supply news from both PS3 and 360 or will there be a new 360crunch twitter feed?
Are you sure Gary? Site still loading really slow for me!
I been checking all day at various hours, seems to be fine for me. -- What browser are you using? -- Time of day (your zone converted to EST), are you checking PM's, or new threads? or just the front page? -- Anything loading, or just part of the page? -- Adblock? (yes/no?)
Checking PM's is so far the slowest I see, it takes me a good whole minute after clicking 'Inbox' before the pages switch to it.
Site Load right now at 11:36pm (which is few hours after your post) is only:
0.28 0.19 0.18 | 2,639 Users Online (93 members and 2,546 guests)

Which is nothing for 24core, 20gig server box.
It's everything Gary! All sections of the forums. When I tried to make this reply, it took about 1 minute for the page to load. I'm using Seamonkey as my main browser. I do use No Script but I have allowed scripts for visiting here. I also use AdBlock. However, all other regular sites seem to load much faster. The only other sites even close to the slow loading times here are all PS3 scene sites.
The other non-PS3 related sites are loading up just fine. I'm in EST & specifically in East Tennessee. I haven't tried IE or Mozilla Firefox but Seamonkey is in the same line as Mozilla. Thanks!

Now THAT is mind-bafflingly weird - in the UK (England's second city to be precise), I don't have the loading-time-related issues that you have whether it is on my cellphone (mobile phone to the "bloody Poms" -tOmatOsaUce's words) network (Hutchison 3G/Three) or whether it is on my wired Internet connection (O2 Telefonica/Be Broadband), and it doesn't matter what time I browse on the forum or what browser I use, there doesn't seem to be any issues (well, apart from the time when gOPA was making forum changes on the fly).

I believe it's the Seamonkey browser. I loaded up Firefox & all seems to be loading fine. Weird though because I've been using Seamonkey as my main browser for a good while with no loading problems. Must be a buggy update from Seamonkey.

Probably so - it's still weird though (SeaMonkey playing up with PS360Crunch).
