The best thing about that site is all of the people who run/moderate it. They can only take your opinion for so long until them calling the regular users a retard gets old to them and then they ban you. Obviously the best site to go to if you're a PS3 enthusiast.
Drama is ongoing all moved to its own thread, so they can keep raking in the hits, even tho most of people have been banned, including developers over this one again.
The funny thing is Gary, some time before the dongle dilemma started, greggy said something like: "all the crunch people are retard, except Gary, hes cool".

I didnt even get a warning from anyone until 4hrs after when Pirate gave me a couple of infraction points..
The only reason I got the ban was because I actually told them how they should moderate forums (I know how coz Im the best there was).
A news/scene site gets its clicks by having people there.. they have driven away two of the most prominent developers left in the scene.
Now, new people go there, post a question in the multiMAN or RetroArch threads they will now get "We cant answer that sorry, those devs are at Crunch/private forums"
What are those people going to do? sure as fuck not going to stay for the great articles that hellsing produces.. what you can actually understand of them dont make sense anyway.
Then you have Annelies with his enlightening pieces on how GTA mirrors real life or some bullshit.
A mod/leader of a forum has the job of making a dev feel welcome, hellsing etc should have contacted square privately and talked to him about his concerns and tried to resolve the issue. Square is a good person who Ive found is very easy and good to talk to, he has some strong views but thats just him.
So anyway.. in case anyone wondered what actually bought on my "bipolar" fit, its the same thing as what bought it on here whilst it was Prea vehemently bagging out a dev here (you didnt see it, was in PM.. Mark Webber)

Unfortunnely, in hax we canīt have any sort of debate with opposed arguments. Thereīs always the "ego-maniac greggy" (followed by his acolits with supermoderating god-complexs) who quicks start to bashing and trashing everyone who donīt agree with his points of view.
There are countless threads in there, who start with interesting discussions, and finish like the "Axterix and Obelix village" fightings! Itīs impossible to have some kind of debate like that...
Example: i dare anyone in there to write the words "true" + "blue" together (regardless the topic or the argument) and see what happens! Itīs like the "Piranhas" attacks! Brrrrrrrr..... (hey, but we have to say that Adamsville has survived until now! I think is because of his cool avatars :-)
Anyway... itīs sad to see a cool site like Hax going down in the drain like that...
I still can't believe how naive some of them even are. Suppose that they are right that it is possible. Possible, and probable are two different things. I've said it before, the problem so many have is expectations. With them being so sure that somebody will do it and do it well, they can only face disappointment. Sure, we can all hope, but hoping it happens, turns out well, and occurs in the near future as opposed to 5 or six years down the line, is far from expecting that to happen. And we all know what happens when people with expectations don't have them met, especially people like them. Not only will they be angry, they will let others know. And who will they notify first? The very people that might have been willing and able to look into it, but will lose interest when they suddenly become the abortions to be crucified. Not only do they have expectations of other people, you can see their expectations of the ps3. The ps3 is a nice system, but it has it's limitations. If it wasn't for it's convenience (no hassle building a computer), simplicity (even noobs can hook up a ps3 and play in hd), and the exclusives. The Ps3 would just be an expensive, but limited computer (mostly drm being the cause). There are valid causes for concern for porting an emulator such as pcsx2. I will tell you that bitching at the only people that are contributing to this so called scene, is probably not the smartest thing if you really want that port. And they definitely won't get interested if the only reason for such high demand from a vocal minority is so some people won't have to buy a ps2 or use on of the various homebrew for it such as ESR or hdloader. If the idea is to pirate, but you are too cheap to use what you have at your disposal, then such negative treatment of the hand that feeds looks especially bad.
I've seen it enough times to know that there is little incentive to make homebrew for the ps3. Aside from difficulty, there is the high expectations that if not met, are rewarded with trolling. From the second you release your first piece of software, you cease to be your own man/woman. You are instead owned. You are drafted into a digital military who only knows of crusades. Crusades against Sony, Crusades against capitalists, Crusades against your fellow man. Keep going and you will become weary, stop and you will be vocally hunted down. Roses become stones, praises become pitchforks. What happened to the devs that disappeared doesn't matter if we don't learn why they disappeared. If our mistakes are repeated over and over, our situation will not improve.

(I think all this BS happened during the "Try to copy TB discs and get them working era" and look a few months later, it doesnt even matter we basically have access to all the TB discs (except xmen destiny) via keyz and eboots)
