Oh well shit happens I've used every filesharing client / network over the years, it's a risk you take. Never had a letter from my ISP or anyone else for that matter Even use their own Usenet server at times
(Also, living in the uk, it's a bit safer, well than in the states anyway )

Of recent all of my downloads are through a couple of private trackers or I use Alldebrid (Friends account, not mine) for access to all of the rapidshare type sites.

Only thing that's happened over here is access to Piratebay being stopped. Although that hasn't stopped anyone from accessing it.

yes overtly it is, but there are alot of laws being passed that allow them to monitor everything ,do dpi, and all that
total internet surveilence, though im sure we have it here too they are just being more open about it there

Well the USA is going off the little man, not the site owners since most sites have NOT been hosted in the USA for years.

But in UK a few big sites, have been operating in UK, and they are going after the owners big time as they live in UK:

...and then there's the Digital Economy Act as well, so us Brits need to watch out for that too.
