The e3 flasher can 100% be removed from any ps3 after using it.

Also the nor clip only works on nor, you might be able to directly solder the e3 flasher to a nand ps3 but I don't know about that for sure.

Thanks bud Your right you need to solder the flasher for nand PS3's, they dont have a clip for nand's...yet.

As far as I know, one of the E3flashers top features - dualboot, is a b1tch to install on phat.
Im talking soldering wire for dualboot feature, very hard to do.
Many guys rather do it on slims.
