Problem with Rage using the 3.55 CFW fix

Hey guys, I have a problem with Rage Blus30485 playing in TB CFW using the non TB patch 1.01 3.55 fix. It keeps on re-installing the game data every time. I already applied the original Param and Eboot of my game version but still the game data install keep on looping. But whenever I try to apply back the TB patched Param and Eboot, the game installs and works fine.

Uninstall the patch & game data, make sure originals files are applied. then run game let it install, then install patch. Mine works same setup. I created the patch on ps3scenefiles and it works

so you mean to say that I should install first the game with the original files. After that, quit and then apply the 1.01 fix?

Edit: Just tried your instruction and fix but still got the same problem. Maybe it got something to do with the original param and eboot? Pat, would you mind uplaoding the original eboot and param of RAge Blus30485? Because Im not really sure if what Im using is really the original. Ive downloaded it in P$3iso but it seems shady. lol

you did delete the gamedata from rage
because the tb version of rage doesnt install the game data

thats why when you put back the tb eboot the game works again


1.delete gamedata rage
2.replace tb eboots with original eboots
3.install 1.01 fix or reinstall (you must install the 1.01 fix pkg even if its already installed )
4.run game and if every thing is alright the fix will install then the gamedata and the game will start

the most important thing is the gamedata make sure its deleted

yeah man. I already did what you said but still the game data install keeps on repeating.

Here's what I did:

1. I delete all Rage game data installed
2. I replace the TB eboot and param with the originals on Rage directory on my external HDD.
3. I install the patch 1.01 fix first, then after that I run the game.
4. The game boots fine, then the game installs the game data.
5. After the game successfully installs the game data, the game resets then after the Bethesda logo, game data installation screen appears again. It shows for like three seconds then the game resets again and the same thing happens all over again.

I also tried re-installing the 1.01 fix but still won't work. I'm thinking maybe I have a bad rip of the game but when I use the TB eboot and param, the game works fine.

you might want to try a different version of rage maybe that will fix it

I have the original Rage PARADiso release when TB was only releasing the fixed eboots with the full game and it installed the game but didnt loop. I dont have the original eboot because this release didnt come with it, but I tested the patch with a friends and it worked as well, vincem may need a new rip.

what he desribes sounds like something i the game loops back to the gamedata
problem is there is no way to know wich file causes this

you could try in multiman the bd mirror option and the fix permission option

but like PatrickBatman said best option is a new rip

you could even get a bles version solong you replace the eboot and param with the original blus version eboot and param
this will turn the game in a blus version
