    is it possible to add these bdemu features on lower sdk, preferable 3.55?
    if U want to run Infamous 1 (game without retail update) via BDEMU U must fself EBOOT.BIN in USRDIR before making .emu image with ps3gen.

    nice, now the option to deactivate devblind works great on latest dex mm. it really deactivates devblind but the vibration "warning" does not work instead if it is activated and you restart mm it only deactivates it by itself without any vibration warning

    Hello deank,
    could you please explain how the current BDemu changing process works? It seems to me like you use the functions that are usually used by prodg, when you eject and insert a new image. Is that true?
    Another way could be to select the image as 'default' as you would normally do with ps3gen. An advantage of that method would be that you don't have to be connected to the router/internet. In case you don't know how that process works I guess you could look at the source of Open BDemu Manager, as you can select a game as default there as well.

    I have been trying everything I cannot get anything over 4 slots to work, any help would be great or can anyone provide a patched genlib.dll file so I can format the drive automatically with 10 slots. I have tried the hex method with ps3gen and I can see and write to slots 4-9 but MM will not see them. I have also tried open BDEMU manager and that doesn't work either. not sure what else to try.

    I'm intrasted too at the edit of genlib.dll.
    And i've got a question: if the ps3 talks to itself on 127.0.0.1, why we can't use a wifi connection?

    I have tried everything to get this to work, can someone please help me as im about to just revert back to cfw 3.55 and say f*ck it.

    1TB WD Passport formatted with PS3Gen using only 4 slots to avoid issues with openbdemu, images loaded from PS3Gen directly as well.
    PS3 is CECH01 with DEX 4.21 loaded, recently (as in 10 min ago) formatted to make sure no settings were messed up.
    mmCM 04.05.07 freshly installed.
    HDD has been connected to each usb port prior to turning on the unit and the same result occurs each time.

    mmCM does not see any BDEMU game, when loading a slot it says "Ejecting current BDEMU image, please wait" then followed by telling me that "Image load failed" and to make sure that ProgDG is not loaded on the pc (which is not even installed) and that it's connected to the net (which it is).... So what now?

    Please tell me what i missing as im looking forward to be able to play current games again, thanks.

    this is a patched genlib for 10 slots, just 2 bytes changed at offset 0x0005D979. i think it can be also patched for assigning the size of partition but i am no cracker. i have found this info somewhere else, dunno where it was

    you have to switch them with ps3gen (on pc) and they will work. i have tried one more, first created and then mounted, but this did not work. at least on 500gb.

    tested on 3.55 dex mfw

    using the open ps3gen and 10 slots, i've got 80010017 error on all images except the first one. think even writing image with open manager did not work, but not sure about this anymore

    now rethinking last posts, i have only tested xmb, not manager loaded. the 10 various, ps3gen mounted images were valid and bootable from xmb

    Nevermind. even though i hate youtube tutorials, the one posted above made me figure out the settings i needed to adjust in the Debug Settings to get this working... guess i missed that somewhere before while trying to get the hang of all of this.

    Edit... nevermind, any game i try to boot gives me 80010009. On to the next issue...

    I made this simple patcher: it patches offset 0x0005D979 of genelib.dll with the selected number of slots (1-255) and then launches ps3gen.exe

    I hope it works Just copy the start_ps3gen.exe in the same folder of ps3gen.exe (use start_ps3gen.exe whenever you need to change the default number of slots)

    Note: it keeps a backup of the original genelib.dll (as genelib.dll.bak).

    I updated the tool now checks file size and the MD5 of genelib.dll
