Aldostools can do this to : CTLR+SHIFT+ENTER on retail pkg
it ask the user to change PS3_SYS_VERSION to 3.4000 or not
and repacks as debug


only differents i've seen is : the original Packageverion is 01.01

Sorry for ask in this thread that belongs to Majrawi's tool.
But that "00.00" called my attention... in my tests the PKG are created using the VERSION field from the PARAM.SFO

Maybe you have an old version of my PS3Tools Collection???

EDIT:
The newest PKG ContentID in my PS3 Tools 2.0.14 creates packages retaining the original PKG's klicensee like deaphroat's tool (see it below)

It also displays the current PKG's klicensee with the Content ID, Title ID, description, PKG size and type (Retail / Debug).

yep my bad, tired i guess..had a good nap and checked again, btw i ment 01.00 and not 00.00

it's the other way arround, your tool creates correct package in the sense of Packageversion original PARAM.SFO

example darksider2 patch - 01.00

Then checked the "package.conf" from Majrawi-DEX-Game-Fixer-Tool and i guess it's this typo causing it
can't really tell, anyway it looks like this in Notepad++

I have made the same thing, but with GUI and the KLincensee and in French ^^

I's a beta but it's works... With a update PKG no renamed. Just drag and drop the Pkg to the "Drop Here Zone", you can edit the "package conf" in the bottom texte before you click on "Create PKG".

The KLicensee is extracted from the pkg. The title id and PackageVersion from no renamed Pkg.

Majrawi DEX Game Fixer
I got a Virus alert when I start the progam..
When I disable my Antivirus the program freezes while it starts..

bull..no virus at all, upload file to "virustotal" and use a real AV or none at all, it only makes pc slower, sandbox ftw, the tool works fine
