ps3 New Playstation 3 model leaked

    With 12GB of flash memory

It seems that Sony will release a new Playstation 3 model with 12GB in October.

It been a few months since we last heard about the rumored 4K model that seens to be an slim-looking-design of the original-phat-design instead of different case layout of the current slim model, all tho based on the news posted on MaxConsole earlier in July about it, it looks to be an auto-slide-top-loading system.

But now thanks to a German online retailer, we now know that a new Playstation 3 model with 12GB of flash memory will be released in October.

No more info has been given about this new model, but it seems that the box is smaller than the PS Slim, that means that the new PS3 will be an ultra-slim design.

The price has not been revealed neither.

Because the leaked launch date is less then month away we should have more solid info from Sony soon about this new 4K model.

At the risk of being a broken record, I have to say this like I did when the PS2 was going through all this.
If Sony, (for that matter, all console manufacturers,) slow down, and spend a bit more time developing their technology, they could save time, effort, and money with all these hardware revisions.

We all know that the initial rumours are old, but obviously, this news post (apparently) confirms that a retailer is officially going to stock it and thus Sony are officially going to supply them.

I wonder if this model will be reliable or will it die like all 9 of my other ps3s.

It is smaller - so takes up less space in the landfill when it does die, so its saving the world!

It is cheaper - so takes less of an hit on your pocketbook, when you have to buy it again!

    I almost missed that part.

My city's recycle program now accepts any item made of rigid plastic. Anyone wants to send me theirs, I'll put it in the recycle bin.
