Call Of Duty: MW3 v1.21 Update Signed for v4.0 now patched for CFW usage

First the Uncharted 3: GOTY edition was patched, which was no big deal as all the included patches are still signed with the leaked v3.60 keys.

But now suprize suprize, the latest COD: MW3 update has appeared, which is rumored to be signed using the v4.0 SDK system, which means maybe a flood of new eboots will be appearing soon now.

Also for those using F*uckPSN and the latest patches, you can go online and hunt down a few friends or enemys now on the COD map of your choice, of course until Sony decides to pull the plug on the new PSN passphrase that was recently leaked, allowing those with Jailbroken CFW v3.55 consoles to get back online!

For those wondering, Activision encrypted the v1.21 update with version 4.00

I checked and this fix works on a EUR version of the game (install official patch 1.21 for EUR version of game and fix for the USA version of game (in PARAM.SFO edit only version firmware on 3.55, or install spoof(spoof does not work on DEX firmware )) and play online.

BTW you also need 1.19 & 1.20 sony updates for this to work (same goes for N0DRM's 1.21 patch)

installed update PKGs in order, then copied over param.sfo, then tried starting after setting permissions on MM again..

xmb shows unsupported data?

still not working...

removed all patches.

went back to the 1.02 fix..

game starts ok.

install each pkg again, replace param.sfo, retsrated ps3, same error..

anyone else having that issue, (apart from the TB as that wont work full stop as the eboot etc is modified by TB team) or am i doing something stupid?

think i have sorted it, will soon see and report back
