Ah, but see we are saying the same thing while missing each other's meanings. I am fully aware of my skeletons and accept them for what they are and I am not in judgment of someone else for their skeletons as we all have them and should be allowed to keep them for as long as we desire. That is neither here nor there as to where we are now.
No one is asking to be spoon-fed anything. What people are asking for is that information be shared. For anyone to get anywhere, someone has shown them the light, the easier way, the quicker method. Vast teams have been developed to learn everything from making fire to putting a man on the moon. One man's journey is a solitary one, but a team's journey has many rewards. The term "great minds think alike" didn't get coined because 1 man worked alone. It is collaboration that bears the fruit, that gives us strength and allows us to grow. Unification of a number of people towards one ultimate goal is the way to ensure success no matter what the task, however there needs to be a starting point.
If info is shared and cultivated as a community the ps3 "scene" would not be in the sad shape that it is in where ego is the ultimate goal and profit rains king (whether that be actual monetary profit or simple e-fame it makes no difference). I've seen what happens in this scene where a "lone wolf" has been on his own and tried to gain ground. I'll tell you first hand--it wasn't pretty. Threats to life and limb if they continued the path they were on. Utterly ridiculous the seriousness and the lengths people would go to in order to "beat down" anyone who dared even to attempt the work that they were doing. A lot happens behind the curtains that we as a group are not privy to and was the main basis of my last post.
