Yes, I fixed it NOT to scan the subfolders of external drives... Also added an installable .zip for those who jumped to latest rogero firmware without installing the latest mM (but still have a previous version installed).
When you change the emulator you have to restart your PS3 (not just multiMAN). When you restart the PS3, start mM and check in System Info if it says "Hermes". Ext. Game Data should work (if you have a USB hdd connected to rightmost port).
GameData3 tool can't show you the games installed on external usb hdd if you deleted the games from XMB.
If you like multiMAN or multiAVCHD, support the development with a small donation. Click here.
I don't know what the problem is bur everything is as what you have said. Sys Info for mM shows Hermes. The rightmost port is where I connect the USB hdd.

EXT Game Data is not working for my system.
And as for GameData3, I haven't deleted any games from the XMB.
I have just went back to Rogero CFW4.30 v1.04 and multiMAN 04.11.11.
Ext Game Data and GameData3 works without any problems.
Am I the only one having this problem? Have you checked with your PS3 if these problems are present?
UPDATE: I am still in Rogero CFW4.30 v1.04 but I have installed multiMAN 04.12.00 and Ext Game Data and GameData3 works fine.
i try to load psx games backup, but no ine load.
I try with pal region psx backup(is region of my ps3)and ntsc, all of this have the same problem.
In the games column, appear start game from disk(psx/ps3)but if i click on there, nothing starting,......
I am on Rog 4.30 2.0. I have PKG on internal hdd. When I go to MM Home -> "install packages" nothing happens, it doesn't let me browse and select my pkg. The only way to install PKG from internal hdd is bubble method that requires rebooting console every time? this is extremely incovenient
thank you for this release.
One question, though: As I'm afraid of the possibly incoming Sony ban wave, I blocked all network access from my PS3 to Internet except the multiman update ip address 173.254.28.96 on port 80.
As soon as I launch multiman, I noticed that the PS3 tries to connect to ip 2.17.177.164 on port 443. This IP address is registered to *.*.*.dl.playstation.net.
The issue I have is that if I block this connection to dl.playstation.net, the multiman update fails and without attempting any connection to the multiman update server !!!
Is this a kind of protection enforced by Sony ?? Or what ?
