Hey Dean, I am using the latest multiman on a 3.41 hermes ps3 slim.
I have never before today tried to use multiman to delete a game.
When I use multiman to delete any game the icon0 is not automatically removed from the xmmb's list, and if I highlight this "ghost" icon and again select delete multiman will for some reason delete one of my other games.
A psn game when deleted through the xmmb will not give a delete progress screen
and since the icon0 was still in the list I didn't realize the game was in fact removed.
I decided to format my hdd and in the process of backing up stuff I found a folder in multiman called XMB VIDEO and in this folder are full copies of all my videos? I thought multiman was only supposed to make links.
Sorry for the long post I just wanted to be through.
As always, your work with multiMAN is much appretiated.
Edit: there was no problem with showtime, the problem was me and using unofficial builds.
You're not alone. I've actually had the exact same thing going on for months, and it's never went away. I don't even remember how it started, but at the same time, it hasn't really caused any problems for me--it's just sort of weird. I have no idea if it's multiman related or not.
I have seen something like this but it was always extra content from a game I had played previously. It usually went away for me after playing a different game that has no extra content though.

Yeah, I think that sounds pretty reasonable. It may have started appearing when I first played a game with extra content--I can't remember exactly when it started now. At the same time, I've played a ton of games that don't have extra content over the past few months, yet that extra icon is always still there! I just get an error message if I click on it.
I had that double icon thing. I got rid of it but really don't remember how.
It happened with the resident evil collection.. I think I hit bdrom redirect,
then deleted the REHD folder out of the "GAMES" folder since the two games,
are installed to the "game" folder already and mountable with any disc.
After I got rid of it, I updated Multiman to the newest version.
So maybe its the pkg folder in the PS3_Game folder (Dead Space 2)
Try deleting the pkg / pkg folder in the PS3_Game folder (Dead Space 2)
if it's already installed to "game" then Hit bdrom redirect and restart the ps3.

There was no package folder on DS2, I deleted it to save 4GB of space on my HDD =)
I wish I can remember what I did.. Stupid crazy weekend..
You can try installing MM again. Make sure to hit bdrom redirect,
so nothing is on "last game start" That's all I got for now until my mind clears up.
Spotted a little gremlin on XMMB - settings column. Following froze my PS3:
"Hide BD-ROM disc from game list" - Enter sidebar> no change > exit with circle > freeze.
"Content filter" - Enter sidebar> change > freeze.
Had to shutdown with power button.
Using latest 02.07.04 UPDATE (20110925-163200)
