Hi deank, I have a curious thing. I am using rogero 4.30 v2.05 and a very recent mM (04.19.xx).

I am testing "Sly Cooper - Thieves in Time" (BCUS98247). The game is in my external HDD. It uses a file bigger than 4Gb, so mM copied it to the cache in internal HDD. In addition, the game is signed for 4.31 so mM proposed me to resign it for 4.30 and I accepted.

When I use mM and select the game in mM (without BDEMU or any specififc options) I go back to XMB and then I can run the game without trouble. It runs fine.

But next time when I power on the PS3, if I use the last game stuff to be able to run it again, I go back to XMB and then I obtain a black screen when I try to run it. I must reboot the PS3.

Do you have an idea ?

I certainly do a mistake. Is last game usable for splitted games ??

lastGAME doesn't support BD-Mirror games, Split/cached games and Ext.Game Data games. lastGAME only supports regular games from hdd/usb (with or without direct boot).

    Hello again Deank,
I have a strange problem with Showtime's blue update notification in multiMAN. I have newest version of Showtime installed, but everytime I enter mM, the notification with 'New Showtime Player version xxxx available" is popping up. I tried uninstalling Showtime and Disc Acces, installed it from scratch but nothing changed. So I decided to unistall mM and reinstalled v04.18.00 FULL CEX from scratch, but still nothing. In Showtime everything is up-to-date, but in multiMAN blue window is popping every single time.
This whole issue started happening a couple of weeks ago, when I was in one of v04.18.xx mM.
Do you have any idea what may be causing this? To be honest, it's kinda annoying, so I hope there is a way to get it working like it should
Thanks in advance and take care!

Showtime standalone (the one you launch from XMB/TV-Video) has nothing to do with the one for multiMAN. I mean - it is 99% the same, but is a different executable, stored in a different place, with different update process. If you want to update the "showtime for multiMAN" then you go to the mM's VIDEO column->Launch Showtime->Press [TRIANGLE]->Update.

Then you can launch videos from mM and showtime will play them and when you exit showtime it will return to mM.

I provide my compiled version of andoma's showtime as "SHOWTIME.SELF" which goes in mM's USRDIR/sys folder and it is used by multiMAN, for which you get pop-up notification. It is usually included in BASE/FULL packages or when you update showtime within multiMAN from the VIDEO column as described above.

I also provide the standalone Showtime as .pkg file (like the one in the post above) which you access from XMB/TV-Video column.

Both are stored in different places and updated in different manner and probably that's what got you confused.

Thanks for the fast reply, my problem is solved now. You are awesome, man
I was aware of two versions of Showtime (the mM one and XMB standalone) and updated both from the Showtime apps to be sure, but that didnt't fix the issue. The cure for my problem was your hint about updating Showtime from mMXMB.
But the strange thing is, that I've been always updating Showtime from inside the program itself and mM was always recognizing the update, and now it isn't. But it doesn't bother me at all, I'm just glad that the popup is gone
Thanks again and keep rockin' !

multiMAN 04.19.05 minor update is available online and in the web column (CEX/DEX/STEALTH).

    multiMAN ver 04.19.05 UPD (20130206).zip (14.47MB)
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/d2o19b

    * Added support for PS2 disc add-ons for PS3 games like SingStar:
    - "[PS2" prefix in folder name required
    - Example: /dev_hdd0/GAMES/SingStar-Dance/[PS2 Pop] where [PS2 Pop] contains a backup of your PS2 disc

You can have up to 10 [PS2] add-on discs per PS3 game. In the screenshot above the following folder structure was used:

/dev_usb000/GAMES/SingStar-Dance <--- This is the PS3 game listed in the Game column

mM detects the add-on PS2 discs and will list them in the pop-up menu when you load the game:

    /dev_usb000/GAMES/SingStar-Dance/[PS2 Pop]
    /dev_usb000/GAMES/SingStar-Dance/[PS2 Disney]
    /dev_usb000/GAMES/SingStar-Dance/[PS2 Party]
    /dev_usb000/GAMES/SingStar-Dance/[PS2]

To have a PS2 disc to be listed in the pop-up menu the folder name must start with [PS2 like in the examples above.

[Hermes] option for BD-ROM Emulator must be used and a PS3 disc is required. Later for the PS2 swap you'll need an original PS2 disc.

Don't forget that you can backup your original PS2 discs in folder format using mmOS.

Thanks to @Portnyashka for the tests and suggestions.

    Dean

    p.s. PS1 BIN+CUE compatibility is now improved a bit.

    Thanks a lot Dean!

I've tested several SingStar games and they work great! A few notes for someone who haven't come across SingStar games:
PS3 SingStar games allow to load contents of ps2 discs - so the things described above have little to do with actually playing ps2 games on ps3.

You'll need original PS2 disc for this to work.

So in order to get songs from the ps2-disc backup you should:
    1. Get any ps3 Singstar game backup and put it in /dev_hdd0/GAMES/ or /dev_usb000/GAMES/
    E.g./dev_usb000/GAMES/BCES00494
    2. Get PS2 Singstar disc backup, unpack it (from iso, bin or anything) to get a folder. Name this folder starting with "[PS2". Also you can backup a PS2 original disc in mmOS to a [PS2] folder. Put this folder inside your PS3 backup folder.
    E.g./dev_usb000/GAMES/BCES00494/[PS2 Rocks]
    3. Load the PS3 game with MultiMan, choose PS2 addon title from the popup menu.
    4. Start PS3 game either from app_home or disc icon or even XMB Singstar
    5. Start a new game and select to change the disc
    6. When asked, insert original PS2 disc and wait for verification to finish.
