I was wondering why I couldn't access the home folder, I can use the CEX version for everything on 3.55 DEX? I only need the DEX version if I'm using 4.21 DEX?
I still use CEX multiman on my DEX because of that crash I had a while back and been building my backups, back up.
Dean, you say CEX and DEX multiman is 1:1, so mmDM, prodg, BDEMU switching, etc. also works on CEX multiman?
I ask because I haven't tried it yet due to my external HDD USB board dying before I converted to DEX..
You can't even access the home folder from ProgDG file explorer on 4.21DEX

How can I switch the games at multiman? it gives me this error "Please make sure that ProDG is nıt connected to your PS3 system and that you hjave a wired lan connection to your router or to the internet" when I tried to ejecting a game with triangle
Same exact problem but from what I can see I am definitely connected to LAN. While is says "Connected from 0.0.0.0 Host Name 192.168.1.42". The web browser will work. Also I do not have ProDG running so I am completely confused. Does anyone have any settings suggestions or other suggestion (ie system software mode, etc.) that I could have incorrect? Please help guys. If I can manage to get this thing working I'm making an immediate donation to deank. lol

That happened to me ProgDG server can still be running in the background even if its not in the task bar. BDEMU thing will work with ProgDG program open but however not when its connected to target debug ps3, so to be sure i would run ProgDG and make it where your debug station says available but not connected. But first connect debug station in ProgDG to see if in fact ps3 and PC can contact each other, then disconnect from debugging station and you can just leave ProgDG program open but not the debug target, it cant be connected.
Im doing this via ethernet LAN not WAN. But you should be able to do either. Its prolly best to have PS3 debug settings in system software mode, as release mode will give you limited control with certain things.

You cannot connect to the PS3 via wireless/WLAN, period.

Dean, I'm sorry to ask what may be dumb questions, but I am completely stumped why I cannot get this to work.
I should have the ps3 set for bd emu correct?
also, should there be an actual blu ray disc in the drive?
Can the ip address be any address?
There has got to be some simple reason why this isn't working for me - I'm just overlooking it.
I did notice that even though my ps3 has an ip address and a "wired" connection, when I went to the ps3 network setup utility and selected "Easy" I got an error saying that the attempt to obtain an ip address timed out. So maybe it is a modem issue. In other words, it may look like I have an active LAN but it might not really be working.
Thanks in advance. (I'm making my donation now and being cautiously optimistic that I'll get things to work)
