Hello! Yesterday I proceeded to update showtime for multiman (triangle, update) but the download stopped on 92% and froze. I restarted the ps3 and went to test it to see how the update went, but now showtime justs goes to xmb screen and MM shows it's already updated to the last version D: What should I do????
Just updated from mm 04.17.05 to 04.18.00 over internet using 480p TV 55 cm
When TV overscan is disabled text is looking good, but mmOS go over border if
TV overscan is on 10% text is too small hard to read but mmOS is in TV border
Don't have anymore 72 cm TV 480p to test on bigger screen but for me the text is pretty good on 55 cm TV.
Thanks! I was also interested in the other "game" modes, but mmOS comments are welcome, too.
Actually even with the overscan in mmOS you don't really lose anything, because the main area is visible pretty well. You lose part of the taskbar, which I doubt people really use (because you can switch windows with [SQUARE]).
I also improved a bit 720p, so all modes should look better now.

I was take another look to all game modes and can say that all fonts are smooth and letters does not overlay each other like when using previous versions of mm. Very clear to read (except BLUSsomething) but this is on 55 cm TV 480p.Generally speaking it's great progress to people who using older TVs.As always great improvement to MM deank.
* Greatly improved graphics rendering (visuals) when mM is used in 480p/576p/720p
* Browsing Blu-ray, AVCHD and DVD-Video discs from the BD/DVD icon in Video column now works
* Removed duplicates of BD/AVCHD/DVD-Video entries in the Video column
* Fixed mouse-control when mmOS is the first display mode after mM starts
* Toolbox/IPF from /app_home will be activated when you quit mM on 4.30 Rogero CFWs (not if you load a game)
hi there im new to posting
i have the latest multiman and showtime im getting 1 or 2 errors
1stly i cant play my bluray disks in mm just returns back to the xmb screne
and the same for my external movies on hdd when they load and goto showtime they also dont load and just stay in the showtime home screne
am i doing something wrong
been using mulitman since the day it came out
i have the latest rogrego 4.30 v2.05
ps i am using a projector with a 100inch screen i can tell the fonts are as clear as anything
i have a full 3d projector if you need any testing doing i am happy to help
forgot to mention the bluray films i have copied onto my hdd in the root menu load and play stright away with no issues
Showtime 4.1.387 by Andreas Öman is now available online.
* You can update your Showtime for multiMAN from within multiMAN via the Video column (select showtime, press Triangle and then Update)
* Showtime 04.01.387 [CEX].pkg standalone is available in the WEB column, too.

1) Original / retail Blu-ray movie discs will make mM quit to XMB so you can play the movie using PS3's player
2) Blu-ray / AVCHD backups saved on internal/external HDD will make mM mount them as AVCHD on a connected SDHC/MS/USB device
Showtime can't play BD/AVCHD movies in their native format, unless you play the individual .m2ts/.MTS files, but then you may lose subtitles, TrueHD or DTS-MA/HRA audio or VC-1 video.
If you have cobra dongle you can play ripped blu-ray movies in ISO format in their original layout (with menus and stuff).
