BREAKING NEWS UPDATE - 3k3y team has released the video showcasing the up-coming PS3 Blu-Ray ODD Emulator Device!

What all started as juicy rumors a few days ago, has turned into the hottest new gadget for those wishing to have true pure 1:1 backups running on their Sony PS3 consoles from an HDD and still be able to operate fine on the latest Sony firmware so you can update the games, go online and much more!

Not a very good solution - no shared DLCs or PSN games. Also kinda useless - you can do the same with DEX if a game has an update.

A last resort maybe, but best solution? Only if you like your games crippled/paying for cut off content. 4.2X CFW/DEX MFW with patched vsh.self would be much better.

Would be better but what is on the horizon at the moment is only good for 3.55 users as it will be signed with those keys.
This will most likely be taken on by those with newer model PS3s.. if done right should allow them on SEN also.

Doesnt interest me in the least but still an achievement none the less

just like my wasabi360 ultra but then for the ps3, nice i have been dreaming about this. However i dont think it will be the end of cfw because we still need cfw to play our homebrews and intall our ps3 apps
