Finally, an updated build of the amazing media player Showtime has been produced and even better this one setup for those that have converted their Sony Playstation 3 consoles from retail over to running DEX (debug/test) firmware.
Install the package
Start Showtime from TV/Video column (it will quit to XMB the first time after it preps some data)
Why do we need this "DEX" version of Showtime? The PS3 in my possession (CECHA-01) has always ran the test builds of Showtime since the CEX->DEX method was released, even still to this day since showtime finally has an update feature built-in, I always get the newest showtime test build when new ones are released.
Am I missing something or do NOR PS3's not run the CEX Showtime on DEX? I'm genuinely curious is all.

Does it run on the latest 4.21 ? And can you play videos from the internal drive ?

I already answered to you on the other site, but I'll repeat it here:
You're probably on 3.55CFW DEX. If you were on 3.60-4.21 then you'll need this 'dex' version.
Multiman is really great DeanK , Thank you very much for developing it for us all , Can this Showtime version run videos from the internal drive on 4.21 ? Ive not converted to dex yet and its a quite important factor for me if i do it or not , Thanks
Yes, it can play videos from internal hdd from a folder you create in multiMAN's folder or under /dev_hdd0/game. And of course from USB or from your PC via network share or /app_home.

That's great news , So could i just cut and paste my existing VIDEO folder from hdd0 and paste it into Multimans folder ? Thanks for the reply (I have over 500gb of video so im not sure what to do)
