Milk fell on my PS3, please help

Irresponsibly, I spilled milk on the PS3. It fell ON TOP of the PS3 so no damage or anything but really little milk went in the disk reader, I cleaned the parts that I could see and thought everything was fine. The next day, I ejected a CD and I had to eject it 3 times just for it to come out. I cleaned the reader using a stick with cotton and alcohol. The disk ejects properly now but it makes HUGE scratches on the disk, circular scratches. The scratches are like 5-6 layers of circular scratches. I don't know how to fix this. I don't want to damage my disks. Should I open my PS3? Please help, thanks.

Not sure how you cleaned it then without opening the PS3. Rice is the best absorber if anything is spilled on any hardware.

Maybe you did something else whilst cleaning it?

Open it up too see if its clean and dry inside. Lots of tutorials around on youtube on how to open the PS3.

Take a closer look at the blu ray disc reader. If its scratching discs that bad, you may need to realign the Blu ray drive.
