might be cheaper to find a used one off craigslist...found one for $30.00 with YLOD and a solder reflow would probably fix it...found a couple for $50 with broken disc drives...probably going to go this route and find a used one so i wont risk messing up my nearly new one i have...gonna check the pawn shops later this week to see what they have..

Dean NOW ONLY provide offline updates every 00.01.00 revision, so now it's up to the mM users as to whether they will provide update PKGs/update text files for APP_HOME/IPF proxy (a.k.a. "stealthMAN"/"proxyMAN") versions of the application - so far, there isn't an IPF proxy version update available, so you're going to have to wait for that.

Yes, stealthMAN and the standalone installPKG/singstarIPF apps update the /app_home ipf.

About this deank. I just remembered that before on 3.55kmeaw other ftp clients like black box gave me transfer speed 15MB/s and just multiman boost this speed to 25MB/s or 180-190Mbps. So thought that maybe it's something up to multiman now . Sorry for pulling this issue again, but really miss old transfer speed. Thank you for all your work.

I noticed that on 4.30CFW the PS3 does a lot of background processing when dealing with files on /dev_hdd0. You can really notice this when you delete a folder from the internal HDD. The ps3 starts processing its meta-database and almost STOPS multiMAN while it is working. I guess sony changed something on 4.30, because this wasn't that noticeable on 3.55 and 4.21rex. Give a try of latest mM 04.17.03 and see if the speed of the FTP changed. I made some tweaks there, too.
