    or
    You use c2d.exe eid_root_key.bin flashDEX.bin flashCEX.bin 85 (for europe)
assuming eid_root_key already provides input target id (or dex flash input does)

    Usage:

    c2d - Changes REGION/TARGET_ID in PS3 NOR flash
    Usage: c2d.exe eid_key_file.bin in_flash.bin out_flash.bin [target_id][target_id]: 82..8C
    82 (DEX) (default)
    83 (JAPAN)
    84 (USA/CANADA)
    85 (EUROPE)
    86 (KOREA)
    87 (UK)
    88 (MEXICO)
    89 (AUSTRALIA)
    8A (SE ASIA)
    8B (TAIWAN)
    8C (RUS/ASIA)

It only mentions NOR, however I think you can use NAND and just change any instance of NOR to NAND
When i start the c2d.exe file, it show the menu, and how should files be named, but after 4 seconds, it goes off.. and i cant write anything on it.

Is it cause im on Windows 8? Does it only works on other OS?

Ive installed everything that the read me says, but im not getting how to work with it.

Can i send you, or someone my files, to do it for me?

If some one can help, apreciate.

I've only used the GUI of the program not the command line one. I remember with GUI i needed msvcp100.dll. I don't think anyone (including myself) will do this for you as its a sensitive issue. There's always a possibility of soft brick going back to cex, so i think you'll have to do it on your own.

anyway time for a double post:

I just did this from scratch in like 5 minutes. Only problem i had was "WARNING: can’t open config file: /usr/local/ssl/openssl.cnf" in command prompt (cause im on windows 7) so in my picture in command prompt "set OPENSSL_CONF=C:\OpenSSL\bin\openssl.cfg" that fixes this. Also may have to rename OpenSSL-Win32 to just OpenSSL I had to.

I chose 84 (target id) cause im in the United States, so pick whatever region your in. The only thing I havent done is test "my-TESTCEX-flash.bin" as I dont want to go back to CEX. (So technically this is what your supposed to do, however I dont know if this was meant for dex to cex, so much as cex to dex or cex to different region)

Notice in the picture mine is 16MB like i said im on NOR

Ok time for a TRIPLE post:

Since I said i didnt want to test the dex to cex flash i made (cause im staying on dex) i went ahead and HEX compared

My dex flash with cex flash heres the changes:
OFFSET 2F075 is where target ID is changed (mine from 82 to 84)
    OFFSETS 2F090-2F140 are completely different

    Then the GOOD NEWS:
I compared the cex flash i made from dex with my ORIGINAL cex flash
HxD program said "The Chosen files are identical"

Can i send you my files, and convert it for me, please?
I've nand flash, and eid root key file, so, now, i only need to know how to change from 82 to 85, and convert it to CEX.
I've tryed to start the program, but it keeps giving the same result.
I'm on Windows 8, probably cause of that, but in this moment i can go to another OS.
If you please help me, i 'd be apreciate.

Do you recomend me to put on some share files website, or you send me your MSN, and i send you on a message?

    Thanks

    Thanks.

I just told you how to change it. Just put the flash on https://anonfiles.com/ transporting your file over the net is not going to help with its integrity, plus if I semi brick your console dont get mad at me or hold me responsible, cause I told you I didnt want to do it because of that, but since it seems you have no grasp off whats going on. It might be better that I do it.

Also everything ive read about this says NOR flash (not NAND) I've only tried NOR and it seemed to make an identical flash to my original.

put flash on https://anonfiles.com and and you want region 85 EUROPE correct?

Sorry, but im not so good at english..

Yes, if possible, change it to region 85 EUROPE, cause im portuguese.

I will post the files, and the links in a few minutes.

    Once again, sorry, and thanks.

Don't worry if it gets any brick, sure it wont happen, but dont worry.

    Thanks
