Hi everyone:

So I finally got around to playing Resistance 3 (I wanted to finish Resistance 1 & 2 first), but I've had a strange issue with the Resistance 3 patches.

I was on Kmeaw and I tried two patches that didn't work. Below is a summary of what I tried:


First, I tried the 1.02 patch + fix (ps3scenefiles) but I got an error 8000... (don't remember the number) and returned to xmb. I tried the game with internal, external, and external + bd-emu, and all gave me the same result.

Next, I installed the 1.02 - 1.05 patches + fix (ps3scenefiles) and this gave me a blackscreen, using internal, external, or external + bd-emu.

Out of frustration, I decided to reinstall TBv2 firmware, since the 1.02 patch did work when I tested the game a long time ago. Finally, the 1.02 patch worked (external), but the 1.05 patch still gave me a blackscreen.


I know that people can get the 1.02 or 1.05 patch to work on kmeaw, so is there something I'm missing here? I don't think the 1.02 patch is defective since it works on tbv2, but obviously something is wrong because I can't get it to work on kmeaw.

I'd love to put my tb dongle back into retirement, so if anyone can help I'd be grateful.
