I think is a no-brainer, to wait some more days to FREE CFW4.21 to be launched. I now i will wait and see where this all goes...
We have now, ways to get online with our 3.55CFW, so why pay for something that you can get for free?!
I don't know were all the hype about PAYING FOR IT is coming from, I mentioned I was not sure if they are going to change, but so far they are sending our cdkeys for free, all you got to do is ask for it.
Maybe it is test, maybe it is way to control it, maybe the only way CFW will work past 3.55 is to dump your EID0, and this way they are for sure you are getting a PUP make for your system, so no bricks happen.

Here is my theory, it will be 100% FREE for those on CFW v3.55 already, the market is small so no big deal.
But they will release a downgrader or another type of CFW for those stuck on OFW and can't downgrade, and that version is going to cost like maybe $10 bucks or some low price.
From the wording and their bad english in their website and email, it sounds like this is from the E3 Team, remember they promised some stuff for free, but then all the bad press, and other junk, maybe they changed their name or plans, or maybe Sony came knocking.
That is my two cents regarding this product, but you can't call it product, since so far they are sending out keys for FREE.
so far their is no cost to this the key is free the download is free... all you have to do is email them for a key and they send you one back... weird huh all the downloads are free
i keep hearing people bad mouthing this saying pay for it and what not. but i can not find it anywhere and there has been people already saying they got there cd key without paying. future updates cost? like a drug dealer, first hit is free?
I did made the video yeah... but also shared all the information that i got freely on IRC even before the release.
I got handed an email from the same email that you can request an cd-key from. I followed the instructions and ended up with this hybrid cfw as it seems. I also got deliverd an cd-key with it.
I'm delivering all the files for the devs to see how this works: I've uploaded all files to MediaFire.
IP from the pup where it downloaded from: 67.198.173.122 My wireshark picked up this generated url: http://67.198.173.122/webeditor/PS3U...C692EEFBD1.PUP the numbers in the url are the cdkey used. Multiman 02.08.05 is the delivered and sees the CFW as 3.55 - SC8 - Hermes
I didn't succeed boothing memdump or any other homebrew so it seems useless for now.
This way people already figured out a lot of stuff, and it doesn't seem to last long.

Ok Gary, thanks for explanation . I am a bit skeptical about all the future support, and i will wait some more days to see where this all goes, and how will it work.
I have asked for cdkey (here´s their email - bluediskcfw@gmail.com ), but i will wait for some more "reviews" first and some more days (will wait for Assassins Creed III) then i will make an option :-)
