after 4 pages of going back and forth we now FINALLY have a 100% working fix for english audio and subs.
to start off with you will need to download these:

Optional: COALESCED_INT.BIN from insomni release https://rapidshare.com/files/1745384...LESCED_INT.BIN

secondly:
unrar the COOKEDPS3.rar and you'll find 669 INT language files. Place them in BLES01675/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/COOKEDPS3/. Place COALESCED_INT_FULL.bin in the same directory.

Next, open COOKEDLANGUAGES and DEFAULTLANGUAGE in notepad (they are also in BLES01675/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/COOKEDPS3/) and change FRA to INT on both files. Save and quit.

thirdly:
replace the PS3TOC.TXT file in BLES01675/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/DISHONOREDGAME/ with the one provided here.

and for the final step:
delete any previously made game data and run the game. You can install the latest patch also, but this will work either way on 4.21CFW.

NOTE: If you replaced COALESCED_INT.BIN using one of the older tutorials, then you need to replace it with the original one from the insomni release. The link for the original is here in case you need it.

hi guys,i managed to get the CFW installed and the new games i have all work,i have dishonored insomnia release bles01675.
its installed fine but i didnt do the game update 1.01.
when it was installing the game it was in spanish i think,i loaded the game up to trty and ghane the language in the settings but couldnt find anything.
can anybody help me out with advise on how to make it english please?

Known issue, go to my 3.60+/DEX compatibility list to find the links for the english language fix link for the BLES version.

patrick the files for the fix you linked up are corrupt,i keep getting errors when extracting part 1 and part 2.

You can change the files yourself all you have to do is edit 2 text files,I know because I just did it 5 minutes ago.

Open with notepad:

which version do you have?
i have the insomni release.
was thinking of deleting it off my HDD,downloading the othe rrelease and then try playing it.
kind of a combo of the two.install it with the one that can install but load the one that cant install.
would that even work?

I didnt know they were corrupt, I didnt upload them. The version you have Eggs is missing English entirely, the BLUS version boots in English. I'll contact the guy that uploaded those files for the fix to see if he can put them up elsewhere.

I have the BLUS version from disc so didnt mess with EU too much.
