I agree, but due to my very long history in the scene I have heard first hand from developers whom wish not to develop for the PS3 due to the problems it has - mainly the clowns (entitled kids and the hate from both sides of the dongle wars). I don't know where you're getting the impression that I changed my views on piracy. I wanted to copy the games I own onto external medium to save the BD-ROM, but found out it's cheaper to get it fixed by Sony. What I said in my reply is that entitled kids and thier desire for piracy made devs leave. Now that I have a better understanding on how it's not that clean cut I am and have always been open to learning from my mistakes. Morever, I've never changed my stance on pirating and don't know how my post could be interpreted as such. Hell, I just tested out RetroArch for the XBOX1. I think that requres ROM images, does it not?
The more I look into it I can see why you [and others] could believe this, but I know that these entitled kids an their circus website are detrimental to the scene. So while I cannot verify exactly what he said I do believe that some developers who weren't trying to make a buck did indeed put up their hat due to the negativity in the scene. However, like xPreatorianx you have given me more to ponder and thank you for replying like a sane individual.

I've never once been complimented for my posting traits. That's why Gdrive/Aha calls me "raging Prea" etc. I'm known for my extremely outspoken and no holds bar posting.
Also again most of the devs who cited "entitled kids" as the reason for quitting were just making up excuses because of the very reasons me, Twin, and Albedo indicated. There were only a few devs who had cited that as a legitimate reason. And you can count them on less then one hand.
About RetroArch - To be honest I don't consider running emulators piracy. Why? Because 99.98% of the games you'll find on those emulators can't be bought from the original devs/publishers. Therefore they won't ever recieve your money. So you aren't infriging on their copyright when it's non existant to begin with.
As for the insults towards TwinAphex - you won't get any respect out of me for sending masked digs towards him while replying to me. I have a great amount of respect for TwinAphex and to be honest I love hist posting style as well. As it's very similar to mine and DangWoot's. So I get along with him. Plus I rarely disagree with the content of his posts.

Okay, since it got re-posted (as I saw it, I have him on ignore now). I'll address it. While his list seems to be compiled using Google or talking to people without getting most of the facts, plus he was not around (as I know) for any of this I'll leave the rest of the comments "out-there" due to their complete lack of factual content which I can prove by addressing the overdose. They more likely reflect his own personality then mine.
I overdosed a few years back in which time I left a suicide note on tehskeen (the site I owned) thinking I'd never see it again. Some days later I wake up in a hospital where I was not allowed to depart until some Shrinks said I could. In this time the Police had tried to have the post on tehskeen taken down due to the massive influx of calls to them. Per say, tehskeen was not a small site. Anyway, while I do see news about people killing themselves over being bullied online they all kids. My overdose reasons while personal did not have anything to do with the Internet - period.

I can't speak for gDrive, but your post was respectful and you took the time to explain your reasoning and even went farther the explain what is going on the in "scene" instead of simply slandering me over and over again. I mean, how am I supposed to learn with being treated like that? He acted almost like Gregory Rasputin would to someone/something he dislikes. I respect the fact you took the time to explain your reasoning regardless of the lack of restraint which in all honesty I rather someone go "all out" then half ass. That is why I complimented you.
As you can tell here I'm new to all of this stuff. I purchased a PS3 a while back, but only used it for a few games and Linux until I just recently upgraded it's OFW to play some games I purchased. I hadn't really payed much attention to the PS3 Scene until this TrueBlue came to be. Due to my ban from previous years on that "other site" I created a fake name and persona to "get the scoop" from the crazies. Once I had learned all I needed to learn about their distaste for everything they seem entitled to I created a thread giving my impressions and was banned as such. During which time I might of spoken to the moron attacking me here, but I do not recall doing so and due to the fact he has a bunch of nicks (and I wonder how many more are secret) I just don't recall. So I'm on OFW and haven't been around to learn how things work and in all honesty not all aspects of the PS3 Scene intrigue me.
I responded to the OP article with my opinion about it based on what I've learned thus far. Instead of someone like yourself replying with why I'm wrong I got flamed. Something I thought was not the "norm" here on this site. Coming from the "other site" (I wanted to see why they are all fussy) I thought I was glad to get away from it. I guess I was mistaken. However, don't come talking shit to me with thinking I'll back down in a corner. Just because you can code, exploited something or run a site doesn't entitle you to be a complete asshole and flame others especially when it's based on nonsense and made up theories. Unlike a lot of people who claim they are smart and seem to know everything I realize that to do so is foolish and am open to admitting I am wrong and learning from my mistakes. However, I cannot do this when I post something that someone thinks is inaccurate who's only recourse is to curse at me and tell me how much of a fool and am and then go on and on twisting what I said and Google'ing to harass and bully me into submission. That won't happen and only shows the persons true colors.
