421+ CFW/Game Compatibility List

I'm still having problems. It seems any newer game just refuses to run. I'm using the newest multiman, but now Twisted Metal (new copy) and the new Playstation All-Stars backups I'm trying to play just restart back to the XMB, unless they lock up the ps3 entirely.

Does it matter that my system is in CEX mode and does not have QA enabled?

I had the same problem;

kick back to XMB no error
make sure you only have one USB drive with game plugged in, 2 or more USB hard drives
can cause problems on CFW 4.XX

I don't have any USB drives plugged in. I'm doing everything internal.

Are you using REBUG mode and have proper rips?

You are trying them with a disc as they arent discless games right??
PS all stars wont run discless internal....

Derp. That was it. Thank you so much. I didn't realize the newer firmwares still required it, and I didn't see anybody state it was required during my research.

Guess you didnt bother looking at this thread did you? after all it is a COMPATIBILITY LIST, the games you mention arent in it but clearly all the ones that are have DISCLESS info, meaning yes 421+ still may need a disc, basically the same things apply as KMEAW in terms of compatibility (except obviously its 421 not 355)

Yeah, I did look at this thread. Unfortunately I'm not completely familiar with the verbiage used yet, as I've not spent a lot of time with this system.

I prolly sounded like a jerk or whatever, but I pointed it out so you dont post a question in a thread that has the answer in the original post and then you said you even searched, if you would of done this on another forum you would of been flamed or not helped. So luckily I answered it, I make dumb mistakes myself obviously, so no big deal. Just looking out so you don't embarrass yourself in the future.
