Quick question about safest CFW upgrade route

    Howdy guys,

I'd like to update my CFW from 3.55 Kmeaw to 4.30 Rogero, but first I want to put in a bigger internal HDD on my slim PS3.

If I understand correctly I should reinstall OFW 3.55 through the recovery menu, swap out the HDD, reinstall 3.55 OFW, install 3.55 Kmeaw, dehash syscon, and finally install the new CFW also through the recovery menu. I'd just like some confirmation on whether this is the best/safest course of action. Thanks in advance.

You can go straight to 4.30 Rogero (making sure the dehashing/flagging is set correctly) and just do the HDD swap from there.

Just to make sure I understand you correctly I wanna run through the steps:
    -Dehash syscon
-Upgrade 3.55 Kmeaw to 4.30 Rogero using recovery menu
    -Upgrade HDD
    -Reinstall 4.30 Rogero regularly

    Is that correct?
