    PS3 Slim With Kmeaw 3.55

I've got a kmeaw 3.55 ps3 and want to revert it to stock. I am a total noob (I admit it) and have been trying to look around and figure out the process of reverting it back to my original 3.55. Anyone have a good guide or tutorial you can point me to? I really don't want to harass anybody by asking annoying questions, I'm pretty sure I can figure it out, just need to be pointed in the right direction. Thanks all!

I have the original files already as well, just didn't want to screw up and brick this thing.

Reinstall the 3.55 OFW PUP via the Recovery Menu would probably be your best bet.

If you want it to be completely like it was before on OFW 3.55 then update to 3.55 OFW via recovery then once that is finished then go to the 'Format System' and it will completely restore it to the way it was.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the assists! I found a guide which was talking about using psninja 4, but I didn't think it was necessary if I just recovered and formatted.

I'm still on kmeaw 3.55, and I plan to revert my ps3 to to stock. When I revert to stock I then want to throw Rog_4.30_v1.04 on the ps3. However, I don't want to have to format my hard drive. So, I was thinking, I could remove my current hard drive, throw in another already formatted one, then revert my ps3 to stock, format that hard drive via the ps3. After that, I'll update to Rog_4.30_v1.04, remove the hard drive I'm not using, then throw in the hard drive with all my stuff. Will this work at all? LOL, I think it will fail spectacularly, anyway, that's why I'm asking, is there any easy way to update the cfw and not have to lose all the data on a hard drive? Please let me know, thanks guys!

Changing firmwares will not format your hard disk at all - just update as normal, and while you are at it, QAFlag your console on KMEAW before making the jump to 4.30 v1.04 on KMEAW - that's what I done, albeit for the first Rogero 4.30 firmware with integrated dev_blind support.

Ok man, I am good! Got it all figured out, applied everything and I'm good to go on the latest Rogero / Multiman / Showtime / Enabled the QA Flag Option via Rebug Toolkit 2.0. However, I didn't tweak any of the QA Flag settings via it's submenu, is that good, or bad? lol

Anyway, if I want to revert to my ofw 3.55, basically all I will need to do is throw it on a usb stick, then update from the recovery menu again, right?
