    ps3 PS3 Keys Leaked Up To 4.25 ~NO PUP SIGNING~

It never been a boring day this month in the PS3 scene, now the big list of all the appldr keys have been leaked.

Now you no longer have to wait fo 'elite' group to make a 'patched' eboot for v3.55, you can do it yourself, thanks to this 'pastie' that appeared today on the 'net.

All keys have been double-checked and verified as working by developers!

    Enjoy!

Cool, they're indeed genuine, tested on some games and 4.21 vsh.self.

So not sure if this should go in Off-Topic but it's a thought that's been kinda going through my brains now that everything is pouring out. Seems relevant especially to this thread but mods feel free to do what ya want with it:

Does anyone else kinda feel a little miffed that scene devs were simply sitting on all of this for so long? They had these keys supposedly since before TrueBlue even.

A leak comes out with a note saying "Yeah, they sat on these whatever here they are" and it ignites all these devs attacking the "leaker".

I don't know. I mean I bought a TB dongle and never regretted it, but it does seem there were many people out there capable of doing what TB did or at least making it so TB could never have happened and they sat there and watched. Then they seem to have "authorized" NoDRM to do what they did.

It's something about that "authorization of stolen property" that kinda gets me. I know the idiom: $100 for a person to fix your sink by turning a screw = "$1 to turn the screw, $99 to know what screw to turn", but this seems a little strange. There were a group of people sitting on this like a "council of elders" who only allowed certain things to get out. And if those things got out, they went into damage control mode.

They fall back to the "piracy" argument, but the knowledge in the Xbox360 scene leads to both piracy and homebrew and keeps coming out no matter what without the "council".

Now that it's all out and it turns out they've been sitting on it so long, I just feel it's going to be hard for anyone to really take them seriously with their "hints" and their "here's a hypothetical method".

I never agreed with "Attacking the devs". I still do not condone that (as a sorta dev myself). But it's one thing as a dev to go "I just am not working on XXX" and having everyone believe that and take your word for it only to find out you have not only been working on XXX, you and a bunch of people have had XXX for some time now.

    I dunno, I'm on a sugar-induced rant here.

    Nope.

The info is there for the taking, right now. I don't see why I should waste energy complaining about something someone I don't even know did last year. Sure, I COULD have been playing newer games sooner, but it turns out I have way more going on in my life than the PS3.

I think "miffed" was the wrong word. I'm not angry. It's a video game console. I guess just... "curious"? or "not angry but could see how others could be angry"?

I agree, im not angry but they didnt really need to hold onto a release that sony couldnt patch. just slowed down the scene a bit. and to the dev that stated "If it wasnt for bluedisk, those keys would have never seen the light of day" WRONG--If it wasnt for geohot and his metldr exploit. honestly do they believe they were the only ones with that key?? it was always a matter of time. always will be. im sure others have the PRIV keys. but thats the leak im waiting for

I think its kinda funny that devs get as butt hurt as sony when SONY's secrets get out.

    devs hijack key from sony.
devs act like sony protecting key.
    anon hijacks key from dev.
    key gets released to public.
devs complain and quit because the public had more use then they did

the scene progresses like it fucking should have months ago. im not mad at the devs but I dont feel very sorry for them

IF YOU DONT SHARE, SOMEONE ELSE WILL, AND IT WILL PROBABLY BE YOUR WORK.

Thanks, but anybody can do that (well if they know how to name the keys), plus Dean's tool doesnt handle games with sprx/self files which have a klicensee key from eboot.elf
