Hmmm, I think BLUS wont last either.
I talked to few devs who spoken with Duplex, this game is all messed up and it was a pain to fix it proper.
There was an attempt to fix it with update files, but it was proven worse then game files.
Anyway, I got a tip not to bother with patch updates for either region as game will freeze at some point during gameplay.
Try to ride it for longer on BLUS and explore more options if you got the time to do it. lol, I dont.

Yeah, this thing is a jerk with game data even on 4.30 CFW without patches, it gets pissed anytime you add anything new. If you try to play discless it nags about corrupt data regardless if there's data installed or not etc etc. So I agree.

I dont think 3.55 users have much longer with patches as there becoming more and more unstable because of updated sprx/self functions in more modern firmware. thanks for the heads up

Can you let me know what the tip you are using to avoid bother for PS3 region?

My PS3 is Japan region and my Sleeping Dog is BLES, when playing game the X and O button are swapped .

This bother me too much.
