Hi

I upgraded to rebug 4.21.1 since it was released it was my understanding that cinavia was disabled. I just played a movie dvd and about 30 mins into my movie my audio stopped I got error 3 which is the cinevia protection. Can someone please confirm if it is disabled in 4.21.1 rebug or maybe I missed something and need to deactivate it in a menu ?

All PUP include the updated REBUG TOOLBOX 02.01.00 and have the PS2 loading issue fixed and we are happy to say we have patched 'undocumented function 114' to allow mapping of protected memory.

Also 4.30.1 is the first true 4.30 CFW/MFW that does NOT use any files from 4.2x firmware inside lv0 (lv1ldr to be specific).

What would be the upgrade procedure for people already on rebug 4.21.1 qa flagged?
Do we need to downgrade to 3.55 before flashing the newer cfws (4.21.2 or 4.30.1) or could we directly update ?

Install from XMB as usual..

what the diffrence between 4.21.2 and 4.30.1?
1. not able change to DEX?
2. is 4.30.1 has the ability to play PS2 too?

4.30.1 does not have the DEX kernel.

All of them can play PS2 PSN titles now.. There was a bug in the first REX releases.

I have a small follow up question cyberskunk....please forgive my ignorance

Would people on 4.21.1 who are not qa flagged be able to update directly from the XMB as well?
Also , is there any way to check if one has a qa flagged console on 4.21.1?

so short story the diffrence is only about DEX thing?

so for end user the best choice will be 4.30.1?

upon 4.21.1 we can install 4.30.1 directly from XMB?
