What part is it that you don't understand? People are trying to give you advice here. And most of them have a lot of experience here. For now you can *NEVER* "upgrade" to a CFW without downgrading first. But you can't downgrade because you are on 4.20 OFW. So logical wise you are saying you want to upgrade from 4.20 OFW to 4.30 CFW, but it doesn't work like that. The base (for now) firmware to start from needs to be CFW 3.55 so this means you need to DOWNGRADE. And the only way to downgrade is with an flasher. If you don't want to "waste" your money on it, then you are out of luck for now, and I would suggest keep waiting for a software based solution comes by (now already takes 2 years).

So 2 choices... wait.. or buy a flasher, and that are your only 2 options now.
