Good news for those of us with a Cobra dongle, they've decided to make a 4.3X CFW.
Now we get the best of both worlds with a properly unlocked PS3 and the ability to play the latest games.

The question is now, if they keep producing new CFWs for newer games, will this be the new must have dongle?
Indeed, they are the undefeated dongle until the present day...
With their features, if they offer future 4.XX CFW´s and being the only invencible dongle, i believe they will grab a lot of attention from the devs that can (maybe) crack it...

CookieMonster's summary basically I think will cause the "pwning lol" of it. They were untouched because they were a 3.55 dongle. TB was letting people play later games so that was the "gotta pwn it".
PS3Usercheat I guess was a side project for someone.
Cobra having a 4.30 CFW will definitely cause many to look harder at it now more than ever.
Like TB, may grab this dongle to try the features earlier until a solution is found .

It may just be the conspiracy theorist in me, but how do you know that the folks on team Cobra weren't the ones to crack all of those other dongles? Either that or the folks behind their dongle are pretty high up in the scene underworld and have a deal struck that no one cracks their work or else...(DeanK's MM ominous message that certain features are only available on the cobra dongle--Please don't take this the wrong way Dean or anything else I say. I have and always will have the utmost respect for you and your extremely hard work, I just enjoy playing Devil's Advocate once in a while). Or maybe it's a combination of both and they have struck a deal that they'll crack and release anything that comes along as long as no one touches their work.
It's gotta be something as they always manage to survive the "war on dongles" without any serious attempts or successes.

Really? $35, that's it? Man that is dirt cheap, especially for what you get. AND people seriously complain about having to spend $35? C'mon people, that's an awesome deal! I thought it was in the $70 range......No wonder it's never been cracked, $35 isn't worth the effort to do so...
Decided to take a quick boo on ebay to see if there were any there cheap (yes $35 is cheap, but if I can get it cheaper, I will lol) and came across this:
but i saw someone say in another thread that cobra was out of production ,and they were not making anymore,and they were hard to find
so is that true?and does this news mean they will have another production run if it is?
and if they are done and not producing anymore then why not just release to everyone a cfw or payload if there is some reason it needs a dongle,which i doubt
