* Added full support for Rogero 4.30CFW Version 2.00
- LV1 peek/poke support
- PS1 disc backups support
- Direct Disc Access support
* Added new function in "Home" column - "* Install Package Files"
* Added new option in "Settings" - "Install Package Files Method"
- User can pick from either "Standard" or "PSN Style (bubble)" modes
- Bubble mode shows installable packages as PSN downloaded content in Game column (or under Rebug's Package Manager/PSN Content)
- To select a package file (*.pkg):
-- Use [* Install Package Files] option in Home column or
-- double click on a pkg file in mmOS/File Manager (when "bubble" method is used the PS3 will reboot)
* Fixed copying of AVCHD/Blu-ray movie backups from Video column
NOTE: You will need this version installed BEFORE upgrading to Rogero 4.30 v2 as the firmware DOES NOT have a "* Install Package Files" XMB entry like the other CFWs.
If you forgot to install latest mM on Rogero 4.30CFW v2.00 you can still install it by downloading this ZIP file. Put it on a USB stick and double-click/install it from mmOS and then REBOOT your PS3 and install latest mM from the bubble/PSN icon.
Here's another thing that I have noticed. For games that have BD Mirror and Ext Game Data selected in the Game Settings, when you run the game from the XMMB everything plays fine. But when you run it from a shortcut in the mmOS desktop, it does not see that it was selected for Ext Game Data.
It's only for games with this combination of Game Settings and when launched from the mmOS desktop that have a Ext Game Data problem. Other games with only Ext Game Data selected have no problem when selected from the desktop shortcut, or for games with only BD Mirror selected do not have any problems as well when launched from the desktop shortcut
Deank but because it has been removed install packages from xmb ? for stability or other reasons?
Please adding this feature in multiman next update : start ps1 iso via usb
you can already do that... provided you have a COBRA-USB... that's a feature COBRA adds, not MM, and until someone cracks open COBRA, we're SOL on that front...
Really, Whats the point in asking deank to add? - he has given you the functionality of installing pkgs, go to Rogero and ask him - I prefer less on my xmb so prefer it this way - so people might have to go get some knowledge, when has that been a bad thing?
Mr. Deank
The installation option <ext.game.data> active game data on external disk.
If you install the game updates on the external drive, Multiman does not show the version of the update to the information on the screen "Game Settings".
Sig.Deank is possible to modify Multiman so that when not located in the folder game <dev_hdd0/game/> located in the folder dev_usbxxx / GAMEI /
so that it can read the version of Update and the Firmware version with here and bootable?
Thank you for everything you did to.
I apologize for my bad English.

About Install Package Files.pkg:
This is a small handy tool for installing PKG files via the "bubble"/PSN method. It may be handy for Rogero 4.30CFW ver. 2.00 users. Rogero is preparing a firmware version which will have it 'build-in' in /dev_flash so you won't need multiMAN and you can't break/delete it, since it will appear in [/app_home] when you boot the PS3 and will come preinstalled.
It comes with background running FTP server and /dev_blind mounted (for write access to /dev_flash).

There's a lot of people in this thread who are asking worthless things to add to multiMAN. What they should do is ask theirselves first if what they are asking would contribute a lot such that multiMAN would be a greater tool than it is now. If what they are wanr or are asking for would just be for cosmetic purposes or for just their own convenience then it would be better not to post it here at all.
