    ps3 Aldostools' PS3 Tools Collection 2.0.51 - Now Includes Bruteforce Save Data/mmRAS

Aldostools' compilation now includes the Bruteforce Save Data/multiMAN Remote Access Service tools

Aldostools has updated his PS3Tools compilation to version 2.0.51, which now includes the Bruteforce Save Data tool, which allows users to decrypt and resign game saves and is based on/built around flat_z's Game Save Tools and the multiMAN Remote Access Service tool, which allows users to access other users' PS3s remotely, which is ideal for troubleshooting/sharing purposes.

If we can get the decryption of a game via the orig disk which is what is needed to help decrypt the game save I think. correct me if I'm wrong. Then why can't we build a database of keys for game save decryption?

I don't know about any tutorials, but read the readme.txt included, plus Aldostools has integrated file explorer so when you right click on pkg or eboot you have options on what too do.This is the simplest tool too have installed. Luv Aldostools I have one fellow who installed though and integrated explorer options not working? Not sure why?

Windows 7 is a right bitch in that department - Google search for that error and on Microsoft's site (it should show up on the search results), it will advise you to download a mini-setup package named as such (.exe) - from there, install it with Administrator privileges (right-click on the executable, then click on "Run as Administrator") and then run Aldo's app bundle with the Administrator privileges.

This is quick tutorial that I made to reply a post in psx-scene (it may be incomplete, but it should give you an idea):
0-Run PARAM.SFO Edit.exe as Administrator to associate .SFO/.SFX extensions. Close it.
1-Backup your save data folder to a USB storage device (/PS3/SAVEDATA) or download them to the PC from /dev_hdd/home/0000000x/savedata via FTP
2-Backup your savedata folder in a ZIP/RAR/7z (just in case you make a mistak and corrupt your saves)

3-Start the Bruteforce and browse to your local savedata folder
4-Browse to a savedata with your account id and "Use PARAM.SFO as template" (you can do this manually copying the PARAM.SFO as "template.sfo" into the folder of Bruteforce)

5-Browse to a savedata with a foreign account id.
6-If the game has a key in the database it will be displayed, otherwise you will need to bruteforce it double clicking on the game and providing the ELF of the game (EBOOT or another self)
7-Once you have the key for the savedata to be resigned, press "Update Account ID" to update the PARAM.SFO with the account id in the template.
8-Press "Patch SFO" if the game is copy protected (it says YES in the Protected column)
9-Select all the files from the PFD using Ctrl+A and press "Decrypt PFD"
10-Use "Update PFD (Partial)" or "Update PFD (Partial update without Game setting) to update the hashes in the PFD. If you have the disc_hash_key for the game, you can use "Updae PFD (Full)".
11-Once the PFD is updated, select all files usingCtrl+A and press "Encrypt PFD"
12-Press "Verify PFD" to check if everything is OK.
13-Copy the resigned savedata to a USB storage device (/PS3/SAVEDATA) or transfer them from the PC to /dev_hdd/home/0000000x/savedata via FTP

here is the MSVBVM50.dll you need to install for using the bruteforce tool on win7 x64 ..
    http://rghost.net/42073296

the tool is very easy to handle if you know how to do it .. there are already keys for up to 1000 games included ..

just put your save- game to a "savedata" folder and open the bf tool ..
if the key doesnt appear automaticly just click on bruteforce ..
in some cases the tool will ask you to insert a eboot.elf of the game you want to bruteforce .. it needs to be an .elf (decrypted eboot.bin)
wait for a few minutes .. and voila magic ..

now just click pfd decrypt --> update --> encrypt --> verify .. and your save game is done ..

disc_hash keys are only used for modding a savegame .. they are not needed for resigning a savegame to your console

    have fun ..

fixed the dll problem now it says Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

i am never going to get this thing working am i??
