Sorry to revive this after more than a month, but i have been attempting to use reactpsn since its release, but to no avail, in my very first attempt at it long long ago i had no act.dat. but i tried reactpsn with patched vsh on rebug 3.55.something. there was actually network access during that time (before that huge gap where we were left with no psn) with simple bypasses such as old versions of f*ckpsn even at one point i forgot i think it was dns or proxy bypasses(lol).
so anyways after trying reactpsn with no avail i simply tried to go download something requiring activation always resulted with an error though then i just left the ps3 hacking world for a long period of time, when i returned, it miraculously worked and i got an act.dat!!! but reactpsn didnt i tried EVERYTHING (even tried editing xregistry) at that point (i had act.dat in both main and reactpsn, act.key in both, and reactsys.key in home folder) i later gave up again, but then recently returned to my cfw ps3 at around october or early november, messed around with react psn a little(no luck), updated to 4.21 cfw, etc. but i mostly logged on for just online play methods returning at that time. then, for one reason or another i "restored default settings" unlinking my psn account with my user and losing the act.dat, shortly after, boom, got hit with the ban hammer (2 unfortunate events in a row... my luck) i currently have a backup, though, of my entire "dev_hdd0/home" and have several backed up xregistries (i made backups of both of those things knowing i would eventually at some point in time do something stupid like this (but i didnt know i would get banned))folder which does contain my old act.dat. simply copying it over doesn't seem to work at all(dissapears on reboot), i am currently on rex 4.21.2 cfw, which should have patched vsh. i dont think that i can use a working psunban to get act.dat since i cant activate my system with it (correct me if im wrong), so i would highly appreciated if someone could help me in my situation or give me advice
p.s. i was able to stay long periods away from my cfw ps3 because i have an ofw ps3 as well![]()
