To help keep the Mods sub-forum from becoming congested in the future, I've decided to create a list of mods that work on the PS3 version of Fallout: New Vegas. The downloads will direct you to New Vegas Nexus so the Mod Creators can get the credit they deserve if they exist or to the forum where they originated from, all credit is given to the proper people.
This list is maintained by me, with help from you guys (I have NV for the 360), so if you find a mod that works, send it to me in a PM to me to ensure it doesn't get missed being added to the list.

Based on Type2's No Fall Damage mod for Fallout 3. All credit goes to him, I just ported the mod to F:NV. **Must have if you install Fallout Heroes as you can be launched into the air and die from the fall**
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: You gotta play big to win big! Better Casinos increases the winning cap and maximum bet for all casinos. Each casino has its own unique maximum bet and winning limit set to it.
The new maximum bets and winning limits are as follows:
* Vikki & Vance Casino - 250 chips Max Bet / 7,500 chips Max Winnings
* Atomic Wrangler - 500 chips Max Bet / 15,000 chips Max Winnings
* Gommorah - 1,000 chips Max Bet / 45,000 chips Max Winnings

Currently using the fluff npcs that Obsidian used so some npcs may look the same. Currently this is the final version with some changes maybe in the future do to the fact I do not have time to work on this. I will not be changing any of the blackjack, slot machines, or roulette tables to active instead of static as that is a whole different story.

near the gas station and the Doc's house. Inside are some basic
living quarters and the robot assembly pod / computer. By collecting
the required parts and placing them into the pod, you can construct
your own robots which have all the functionality of a basic companion.
Parts can be scavanged off robots you destroy, or by converting every day
objects via the workbench.
Recall Device - Personal Teleporter
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: The Recall Device allows you to "mark" upto four interior or exterior spots in the
Mojave wasteland, and then can teleport you back to those spots as many times as you like.
Fatigue - Loot the Unconscious
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: This small mod allows you to loot unconscious enemies and strip them naked, while they are out. It does this by adding a perk to the player that gives you an activation menu when you press space on an NPC that is unconscious, alowing you to loot him/her. The following weapons that damage fatigue, Boxing Tape, Boxing Gloves, Golden Gloves and the all-mighty Cattle Prod. They will be much more effective now, than how they where.
Skeleton Key
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: It's a Skeleton Key !! Opens all LOCK'S (DOESN'T HACK TERMINALS !!!!)
When the Skeleton Key is added to your inventory a hidden Perk is added to your character .
Every time you activate a locked container/door a menu will pop-up that gives two choices :
- open with the Skeleton Key
- or attempt to pick the lock
If you choose open with Skeleton Key, it will open no matter what Locklevel the Door/Container is.
Unlimited Companions
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: * Allows you to have as many companions as you want.
* Will work with all vanilla companions and any non-vanilla companions that are added using vanilla variables (probably will be most of them).
**Does not work with Dead Money**

Cheat Terminal Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: A Terminal in Doc Mitchells house next to his Vigor machine with lots of options for cheating and other useful options. Save your game before using just in case you alter something undesirable. There is also a plastic surgery device next to the terminal on which you can change your name, features, race and gender.
Power Armor Training
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: No need to finish or start the brotherhood quests. To obtain, go to Goodsprings and find the crates outside of the General Goods shop. The book on top of the crate will automatically give you the Power Armor Training Perk allowing you to wear the armor at your feet.
Casino UnBanner
Download from New Vegas Nexus Description: This mod will reset your winnings and unban you from a casino an adjustable number of days after being banned from that casino. You will be messaged as soon as the ban is lifted. The number of days before being unbanned can be adjusted via the :: Casino UnBanner :: object in the armor section of your pipboy. Setting the delay to 0 will probably prevent the pit boss from ever approaching you.

Excellent thread. Bravo!!! Is it compatible with Oblivion mods meaning, is oblivion moddable like FOV?
If people want I can split this into a Fallout3/New Vegas and Oblivion mod thread, again, I have F3 for the 360 and Oblivion on PC, so I wouldn't be able to do much in terms of validating mods on my own and would take some help from the community, but if it's something people are interested in, I'd be willing to do it.
Does anyone know how to get this mod to work? I just cannot get it to work.
It may not be compatible with the ps3, but the mod description is very vauge it just says 'near the saloon' perhaps you haven't seen it (doubtful I know..) try fixing permissions, if I had the PS3 version (and the space on my internal) I could do some trial and error for you, hopefully another member will see it and be able to help
