There are still some of those thanks around. Like on page 393 and 395 of the true blue news thread. I would have deleted my post on page 393 to get rid of that thanks, but the thread is locked. I reported some of those thanks, but they were not removed. Weren't we able to delete posts from locked threads before the latest upgrade?
Just had a look and I see what you mean. All i'm able to do is delete the posts, so I'll wait and see what Gary says first.
I tried to remove them at the time but they were only gone until I refreshed the
page and then they were back again.
I can also confirm this - I even tried removing the thanks from the offensive usernamed trolls, but to no avail - the best course of action for the meantime would be to soft-delete the posts (pete_uk's idea) so that the people can keep the same reputation tally without others having to see the posts being thanked by those with the offensive nicknames, which would be beneficial for the "rep whores" and it would buy Gary et al some thinking time as to what to do from there.
Actually, I'm gonna do that now.
Update: Job done - might take another look at the thread again in case I have missed a troll-thanked post but hopefully, I haven't.
There's a problem with the Thanks button today. When clicking the button it takes you to a message saying that post couldn't be found & redirects. Thought I report that! Thanks!

But then I have javascript turned on, default IE9 settings, etc.
Even with Javascript enabled, the Thanks feature can be buggy at times, but it still works - I've had the same glitch as Mister Tony experienced a few times!
Instead of me being a complete and total dick and a prick, I should be on my best behaviour!
