Well I think Cobra is out of production anyway.. the 4.30 was more of a nice gesture.
I imagine there would be some issues making some stuff work properly but the basic PS1,PS2,PSP stuff should be no problem

Same here. I've had a PSP since launch but have missed and only partly-played so many renowned titles. Playing them on the big screen and with comfortable controls will be a massive incentive to catch up (the ghosting on my good old PSP 1000 LCD is nauseating in all). As well as the ability to have even more of the PS library playable from one unit .

I couldn't agree more! I love my PSP-1000 but holy shit does it have terrible controls That was a true rarity from Sony; a dpad that was abysmal and the analogue "nub" was terrible too. I cannot wait to finally play some of my beloved PSP titles on the big screen with the epic PS3 dpad and analogue sticks. It's just a shame so many games are still incompatible - especially Phantasy Star Portable 2... I'd give anything to have that perfectly playable on the PS3, but sadly the Cobra version has bizarre framerate issues - doubling in speed when out of combat and sometimes halving in speed during.
