So its only the COD people getting banned?

Funny, just yesterday I got the urge to switch to multiman stealth, knowing nothing about an ongoing ban wave.
The way I see it, every day I can keep my PSN access, is another day I should be thankful for the PS3's imperfect security.
Everyday, I'm still so surprised I'm not banned yet, considering I was one of the ones getting everything for free off PSN when we had the chance. Also considering if you simply look at my online status while I'm using MM normal, you can see I'm playing "Multiman"

Sony seems to be pretty lax compared to MS.
Out of curiosity have you play any of these games online recently?? Tekken Tag 2, BO2, Fifa 13??

I listed PSN as one of the factors because it's a popular topic now and that I am actually using it as of late. I do realize and fully understand what has happened in the XBOX scene regarding their Live service and banning.
So I'll elaborate more on why I believe CFW is flawed. Bricks. Many users who do not understand the process of flashing and/or upgrading to current CFW are getting bricks. Personally, with all I've read I had to have a developer tell me you need to downgrade -> dehash -> flash OFW -> flash CFW 3.xx/4.xx. Then some CFW readme's (if they even exist) don't mention dehashing, going back to OFW 3.55 or anything. Then I think Rogero you can upgrade the CFW without this, but only after a certain version. Now, I am lucky enough to know the URL's to scene sites, have access to the Internet, etc ... There's lot's of folks who can obtain the CFW (from a torrent or usenet), but then just go flash it. Sure, it's their fault for not reading up on what they're doing, but I've even seen releases meant to brick consoles not to mention the accidental bricks that still some people cannot explain. Sure, you can blame the person, or the CFW author or the scene in general for not having resources for things, but you can also blame the CFW for not making sure and not installing itself it certain factors would lead to a brick. Is this even possible? I've been told no. So that's a flaw. I've yet to get bricked by an OFW and yes I know it has happened (without pulling the power).
Another flaw would be lack of features. *Sometimes* OFW adds new features and I know with the recent exploits allowing newer OFW to be hacked won't be such a big problem as before, but there's still the time gap and the fact some of the new functionality (cloud saves for example) require PSN. Sure, maybe some people don't mind the trade-off of functionality for functionality, but ideally a firmware for a fully exploited system would retain all original functionality and then allow the execution of unsigned code. The PS3 CFW is sort of a mess; therefor as I mentioned before the fact I really don't need any of the functionality it adds and want the functionality it removes I personally have no use for it. If I did I'd simply get another PS3.
Just because you don't like one Nintendo DS flashcard doesn't mean you're out of the scene. Lastly, back to your on-line play; I know things change and you can't have stuff exactly the same with previous generations of consoles and CFW (Wii & PSP for example), but this is the best there is and lots of people are cool with that and that's cool with me. If I had some reason to use CFW I would be damn glad it existed. However, I don't.
Bricks will always happen dude. You can still "brick" your 360 if your not careful when installing a RGH/JTAG. The more we tear open a system and modify it, the more likely we are going to brick a system with modifications. That's something that is a constant value in any form of electronics that you can hack. The Iphone, PSP, 360, PS3, Android devices, Wii, etc, etc. Everything that can be hacked now a days can be bricked hacking it if you aren't careful.
As for "new OFW features" in all honesty new OFW barely adds features. What maybe one or two features every 5 - 10 FW revisions. And they aren't HUGE improvements like 360 dashboard updates. They are bare basic shit. One CFW release to another adds way more features/functionality then 10 new OFW releases.

OK, seriously WTF? That's screwed up on so many levels. You know what, this country is half assed backwards when it comes to Capital crimes. Murder you either get a needle or serve out your sentence. Then your done. You don't have to register anywhere and you don't get messed with on a daily basis. With sex offenders you have to do your time, you get registered, and you have to comply with a laundry list of regulations. And now this? Wouldn't wish that crap on anyone, but even I see there's something wrong with that. I can see banning them if they are getting reported for Leud conduct - but when I see huge statistics like that there's no way all of them were doing harm on XBL, PSN, etc.
EDIT: See I fully endorse banning their text/voice privledges. That's all fine an dandy. But full bans I believe is complete crap. Removing a perfectly healthy outlet is only going to send them closer towards their sick ones.
