I just wanted to open a thread which will discuss what will detect us Custom Firmware users on PSN and what won't.
So, does the stealthMAN really prevent Sony from seeing if we use a CFW or OFW? Will stealthMAN be a good choice?
I've seen a few posts at another PS3 forum where people said, that some with stealthMAN got banned but other with the normal multiMAN didn't.
Is it BlackOps, which is a danger for the Custom Firmware users? Most people who played it got banned afterwards.
Now, tell me:
1. Are you banned? If so, What did you install and what did you play online?
2. Aren't you banned? If so, What did you install and what did you play online?
Please apply to my two questions, probably we'll probably be able to tell what is a danger and what is not for PSN.

i'm on rebug 4.21.1 and i didn't get banned. i go to the ps store and watch netflix all the time and also play MW2 online every once in a while but i'm not too big on online gaming but i've been downloading game demos and other stuff like crazy from the ps store and netflix is on the majority of the day. before i click to go to multiman, i make sure that i'm not signed into psn and if i want to play a game online or go to netflix or whatever, i'll just start the game or app and let it sign me into psn so people can't see that i'm using multiman.
More variables need to be discussed and reported. Some may not matter but it still good to document and see as a whole.

and i'am from portugal, i think the country does matter
Banned ( consoleid + psn account ) cause played bo2 online with CFW, i played with a retail bo2, not even a backup !!!!! ( used multiman stealth, never cheated ! )
It's a fact, only playing bo2 online with a CFW or cheating can get you banned, treyarch is the only game dev to report users to Sony for CFW use ( fuck them, i ll never buy any of their games again, i sold my retail game and now use a backup, fukyu treya ! ! )
I have 2 ps3 on cfw, the one that never played bo2 online isn't banned, i play online with it as well but never with bo2.
Treyarch is looking for previously launched homebrew on your ps3 account, they do not care you r using a retail game or a backup !
Never launch any homebrew with the PS3 account you use to play online to bo2 and you ll be fine.
well im still playing mw3 online have not been banned or anything
i do not sign in i first use normal multiman to pick the game i then sign in and then run the game and i have yet to be banned i even played bo2 online for a bit just to check it out but then i deleted it as it sucked
