Automatic PS3 downloads also planned.

Previously available only in Europe, the Web browser version of its PlayStation Store will launch in the U.S. later this month.

Sony Network Entertainment COO Shawn Layden has announced at this year's CES that the company will launch the web version of the U.S. PlayStation Store later this month.

This new PSN browser setup was previously only available in Europe, and allows gamers to remotely browse titles and make purchases...

Acording to Layden, the webstore will eventually allow users to buy a game via their internet browser and have the content automatically downloaded to their PlayStation 3.

At the present time, users can only make purchases, which they would have to download themselves by powering on their PlayStation 3 and accessing the PlayStation Store.
