Models supported:
One hardware revision supports all.
Our hardware has been designed to both fit inside and interface with the Super Slim version of the consoles, as well as the SLIM and older FAT systems.
If you upgrade at any time from a FAT to a SLIM or a Super SLIM, then there's no need to buy a new device....
Support for the newer consoles such as 25xx, 3xxx and 4xxx to run ISO's will be included at release.
Game Ripping:
Functionality will be added shortly after release of the device via a firmware update.
Ripping speed will be almost as fast as that reached by connecting drive to PC and users will benefit from the convenience of a hassle free game ripping experience! Rip games directly on PS3 to an external USB HDD in ISO format.
Additionally we will provide a PC app at time of release of the product to market which allows conversion of JB game dumps to ISO format, so users can simply download games from the net and convert them with our app. The app will patch additional data required to create necessary ISO format.
So there you have it, I know it does not answer HOW it works, but you can be sure that Cobra-ODE will work on all PS3 models, and look at that you also be able to convert your old JB game data over to the new ISO way of playing games on your OFW PS3 console!
Colour me surprised! They actually went and found a way to work on Slim/SuperSlim machines out-of-the-box? That's impressive tech and accomplishment no matter what your opinion is on the device. Well played Cobra. Now EVERYONE can have access to backups, regardless of FW or HW revision.
Let me be the first to ask the stupid question for all of us WILL THIS WORK ON 4.30+ ? There I feel better now that Its out.
I think it is pretty clear: It works with every console. Every console means every firmware as well. That was the whole point of their press release. They wanted to make it clear whatever console & firmware you have, it is compatible. We still don't know how it works though. Guess we have to be a little more patient.

I don't see the need to buy this hardware, as anyone who has an ofw 4.xx can simply buy a flasher to return to 3.55 and install one of the most beautiful CFW current, among which that of Rebug.
Here I smell a market similar to the true blue ...

ODDE makes it so Sony can't see that you have this installed. You can get on PSN freely with this, just like 3k3y's ODDE. If you're on CFW, Sony can see that easily. Plus, this is safe from firwmare updates. You don't have to be on a 3.55 signed cfw.

Perhaps many of you do not know the true story of garyopa, who has always lied to give support to the true blue, giving false information only to protect their product, and forcibly encourage users to purchase the true blue, inventing false ads and promising things that never arrived, until the bankruptcy itself, You must be careful guys, so don't be fooled again, speaking to you one of the many that has had a bad experience with that shit of true blue
The thing is, though, I /know/ what ODDE is and I /know/ how useful it is. This is something better than a dongle, or any cfw can provide, when it comes to playing game backups. Now Cobra's ODDE versus 3k3y's ODDE is something worth getting worked up over, but ODDE itself, it something good.
