Just as a headsup Snes9xnext is having some issues. it boots as prboom.

It's a SELF-EXTRACTING ARCHIVE (SFX), and the .exe extension is a standard extension used for such archives (stupid I know).

It's a packaged archive created as self-extracting via making it an EXE. Unlike just using 7z, rar, zip or zoo EXE's can easily be wrapped or infected with malware/virii. I would make sure to scan anything with at least 3 different scanning apps before running EXE including those from download.com, softpedia, etc ... The authors probably figured it would be easier for the end user to extract the files given no need for a program to do so if lacking one, but didn't think that the same people posting CFW that brick consoles on the net might infect their extractor and start giving people problems.

Oh TomatoSauce, do you have an Neo X5? I have a Minix Neo G4 myself and it´s a powerful small (and smart) android stick to put a "brain" on our TV :-)

Will try now the Retroarch on the android Minix Neo G4 (will try with DroidMote) :-D

Have the exact same problem. snes core doesn't load
I had them as .zip files and when I changed the core to fceu it would see when I pressed x to load all it said was 'extract to ____ directory".

I figured retroarch doesn't notice snes .zip files so I extracted them and now it doesn't notice snes roms at all.

Same here - hopefully they'll sort that out ASAP
